Miu has found herself to be used with this city after spending a while staying. Even though she honestly still does not find herself pretty attached with this city and the people here, but at least it is a comfortable place to live. Although, the live expenses forces her to come out and look for jobs, even though she does not want to, really.

She opens her apartment door, only to find that someone is outside–a girl with pink hair. She is not someone that Miu is familiar with, which is why as the other suddenly asks her a question with a confused expression, Miu cannot help but to take a step backward, startled by her presence.

She falls into her thoughts for a moment, even though the answer is pretty simple. After a moment of silence that feels like forever for Miu, she replies. “Um…I guess so…”

Truthfully, she is not certain if she is in the same planet as where she originally came from. But, there is an air and gravity here, so maybe it is the same: Earth. “This is city of Spirale… Um… are you, by chance, just arrived here…?”

Oh, how much she reminds her of Yun-Hua! Of the gentle yellows in her eyes and bangs over her forehead, and the way she demurs... but this is not Yun-Hua, and Aries tries to curb the look of disappointment that finds her face. She’ll just have to track down her teammate elsewhere... and hope she hasn’t run into trouble.

“Yes! I’m new here! I woke up at this massive hole and somebody drove me here... well, not here, but to this street!” She moves to rise a little in the air. The confusion is apparent and even more intense as Aries considers her words -- as is agitation. “I was... on my way home, with my friends, and we were on the ship, but then -- then I wasn’t! I can’t find them! We must have crashed on the way and I have to make sure they’re okay!!”

“Have you seen anybody?! Please...!”

It seemed far too convenient to be dropped into anti-gravity; everything in Fibonacci, as they call it, is very erratic, and Aries only recalls such sudden switches of gravity in simulations back in Astra. She’d crawled and floated until out of the boundaries of the ward, and into --

-- A lot of water?

At least the atmosphere is steady. They could have dropped her friends off in different sections; despite a lot of yelling and asking, Fibonacci had none of them and that only steels her resolve to look elsewhere. She highly doubts this is Astra, or any old variation of the Earth, and the government would have made it known if they were terraforming another planet. ... Right?

No. Considering everything they lied about and suppressed, apparently not. Most people she meets claim to have been brought here against their will -- but can’t seem to understand how.

The tide is low for the time being; given the state of the ward, and her previous experience in Arispade, Aries knows it’ll rise -- she’ll have to make this as short as possible, but how? The sections of this place are so big, and it’s not the same when she doesn’t have the ship at hand!

“Oh -- !” A flash of pink hair -- a child retreating into a tall building, and something prompts her to follow. If she’s hiding out in there, it could be occupied with one or more of the others! Her entrance, however, is a little disappointing; Aries enters into a near-deserted ground floor lobby, with only the stairs and an elevator to signify that there is a lot more to search and almost no good initiative to do so. She pales.

“Is there... nobody else in here?”

She asks a lot of questions on the ride home; the man answers none as though her existence ended for him the moment she climbed into the vehicle. Her mother had warned her against this, multiple times; it’s the common law of stranger danger. She had not, however, accounted for either herself or her daughter finding themselves in a section that seems to be entirely cut off from home, and Aries has chosen to disregard the warning with some guilt in her heart.

The car comes to a stop, launching its door open. She waits one moment more, clinging onto some leftover hope that he’ll say anything else. Finding nothing, she sullenly climbs out --

“Whoa - !”

Her home does have some sections made specifically to be anti-gravity; not all planetary travel involves the same rules of physics, and it helps to be ready. For a whole residential area to be designated without warning or at least a few signs is unheard of!

Ever so careful she walks, hovering just slightly above ground, watching the buildings and completely bypassing her own. Aries comes to a pause at the click of a door -- someone’s leaving. Despite her earlier caution, she forces herself against the winds almost desperately to reach her.

“Um, excuse me -- ! Where am I? Is this Earth?”

she comes from Planet Astra. no, it’s not Earth, even though everyone thinks so at first. she also boards a ship called the Astra. not confusing at all.

She doesn’t remember being tired; the heaviness of her eyelids are alarming. She touches her palm to the nearest surface, not daring to open them, and it’s not cool, smooth metal under her fingers, but little bumps and dust. Aries tunes her ears next, and it’s not the hum of the engine -- unfamiliar voices overlapping in confusion, panic, exasperation.

She blinks, and the world opens. Have they left the Astra already? Her eyes adjust to the light; she sits up and immediately shrieks, crawling away. To its credit, the hole doesn’t move, but she sure as hell does, backing almost all the way into traffic. Breathe. This isn’t new. They must’ve crashed on the way -- where is the ship?
