Question about your II ponys :DDD

Are they made with a cutie mark in mind? Or is it once they become their own people outside of the game? Awesome Art btw

i think mephone generated some of them with cutie marks and some of them without, and those who didn’t have them initially had to earn them over the course of the game (or outside of it!)

for example, i think lightbulb and test tube would already have their cutie marks at the start of their respective seasons, since they’ve always been pretty confident in their sense of identity, while paintbrush & fan got theirs later on!

i have lots of hcs for when i think certain characters got their cutie marks… oj got his when he won s1, paintbrush got theirs in Alternate Reality Show, fan got his when he gave the egg back to the shimmers (his cutie mark is supposed to symbolize ‘coming out of his shell’), cabby got hers when she embraced using her files, etc!
