Am I the only one upset that there’s not more Iron Lung standalone content? Like, this movie took so long to make as an independent production, was finally released, had about 3 weeks in the spotlight, and then Bloodymary came about, and now going through any tags you can barely find singular stuff for Iron Lung.

I’m not trying to devalue anyone who enjoys Bloodymary, I really do enjoy the dynamic (when people aren’t babying Simon to be some wet puppy and aren’t making Grace some ‘innocent ball of sunshine’), it just feels kinda disingenuous to Mark’s work for the only thing to find online is… a ship. I feel we have lost the value of the movie as a whole as it’s a story about sacrifice, and it feels like it was sent to the chopping block as an accessory to an already successful book and movie by a successful studio and actor.

Idk. Just thinking about stuff, my word is not law, I’m just rly sad I don’t have enough standalone posts like headcanons or fan animatics when it’s such an interesting concept, and Simon is such a well of potential that is only used as an accessory to Ryland Grace.
