it’s more of a crack verse than anything else , but i still really like it so here ; klee is perhaps the youngest fatui member to exist , and the reason why she even became one is when younger , she wandered off too much outside of mondstadt and got lost , only for some fatui agents to find her and take her with them back to snezhnaya as to make sure she stayed safe .

of course , klee’s potential is still there ( don’t forget that in canon , she killed one of the hardest enemies in liyue as well as destroyed a cliff by accident ) , and now that she has more chances to show it ( i don’t believe the fatui would mind much at her exploding things up , well — depending on the things , of course ) , the harbingers welcomed her with open arms ( well , some of them , at least ) .

strangely , after the few years she has been with them and after the death of la signora , she is the one to most likely take up her place , as strong as she is already at such young age . so , be prepared for her shenanigans , whether it’s fishing with childe , or arguing with dottore and calling him stupid ; now that she can do so much more with the title of the 8th harbinger .

additional verse information : she doesn’t have any delusion , as all harbingers did not like the idea of a child having one ( the majority agreed so , that is ) . and there’s a small subverse to this verse , where it’s the same but instead @capitalst full on adopted the little girl !

klee misses her mother a lot , but thinking she will sound selfish if she says so - like , on her birthday , she was so excited when she heard her voice . she genuinely thought she would appear around the corner , and she could hug her . she was really sad when that didn’t happen , but it only hit her much later before going to sleep .

#she knows her mother is working so she doesn't complain #and i think reason why she wants to become an adventure too is to be able to travel with her once she is older #* (&. headcanons!)

saddest part about this is that , in my opinion , the tsaritsa would be a better mother than alice .
