(Updated September 2025) Doing an introductory post bc I’m bored and I have an hour to kill-

Hi! My name is Lexi (but I also go by Spynel; either name works), my pronouns are they/them, and I live in SoCal☀️

My current hobbies include mixed media art (mainly digital and traditional-sketchpad art, but I also occasionally paint, sculpt, sew/crochet, and I also started experimenting with felting), photography, performing in theatre productions, working with livestock, and raising show animals for Future Farmers of America (FFA), although I always send my animals to sanctuaries because I get too attached🥲

My favorite shows/movies/theatre shows include Steven Universe (SU is my otp), TADC, The Owl House, Inside Job, Arcane, Steven Universe The Movie, Across the Spiderverse, Hamilton, Tootsie, A Transparent Musical, Beetlejuice, SIX, Heathers, and Ride The Cyclone.

As obvious by my profile, I LOVE Spinel. Ever since Feb 2020, she’s been one of my favorite characters in media. I love the animation style used, the voice used for her, her story and character development, and the way her story is portrayed throughout the movie is so good and yet so heartbreaking. I also got the chance to meet Sarah Stiles (Spinel’s VA) after seeing A Transparent Musical back in June 2023 <3

My current goal is to graduate high school (accomplished as of 6/5/24🎉), and my hope is to move to New York City and become a Broadway Actress. It’s definitely not gonna be easy, but I’m determined to make this dream a reality, so I hope you’ll follow my profile and join me on this journey 💞

She 100% referred to Zooble exclusively as she/her the first few weeks of them being there, and once she learned they were nonbinary from everyone else, she apologized relentlessly for three solid days.

How long did you have that Fem Jax design ready to go? Did you design her recently or way back when you were still making the pilot?

I drew it right before I posted it because I wanted to put pomni fucking ribbit into people's heads.

Is there anything you would want to change from the digital circus (even if it something little) if you have to do it all over again?

I'd want to probably explore Pomni's angry side a bit more. She was originally going to be a much angrier character, but after casting Lizzie, she was so nice and sweet that it was toned down a bit, but I kind of regret that. Some of Pomni's anger issues made it through to the final thing, but I wish I made it more of a key part of her.
