Ignore the shitty lighting but here’s some more ideas and designs for my TADC Undead AU.

If you didn’t see my last post: in this AU C&A was a company that researched biological engineering (created and ran by Scratch) that partnered with a computing company (ran by Kinger) to create a program known as “The Amazing Digital Afterlife!” Their goal? Resurrection and, effectively, immortality.

Bodies of people recently deceased are found and scanned into the circus (along with their brains) but due to the effects of their brains being post-mortem, the casts brain scans are shoddy and their memories are hazy at best, forcing them to have to relearn who they are and why they got there.

Idea for an Afterlife/Undead TADC au: the C&A company attempts to bring people back to life by scanning the bodies of recently deceased people and uploading them into “The Amazing Digital Afterlife”.

Considering going forward with this idea. What do y’all think?

I just remembered I can draw anything

My (very rushed) attempt at a redesign for this random Villainous character I just saw. One of the things that will forever annoy me about this Vivziepop adjacent style is that I feel like you can never tell anything about the character based on their design. What do you mean she’s meant to be part lizard???

Anyway I made her look more lizardy . The tear on her tights are meant to look like patterns lizards have, the red spikes are meant to look like lizard spikes, and I muted her main outfit to highlight the bright red accents. And I got rid of the blue on the hoodie to keep the color palette consistent. Oh and I gave her a split tongue and lizard eyes 🦎

Lmk if I should redesign any other characters from this show.

Before I watched NBC's Hannibal I would see GIFs on Tumblr with subtitles like "I gave you a child, if you recall," and "Is your social worker in that horse?" and assume they were joke memes, like incorrect quotes or imagines for comedic effect. But every single time it turned out to be canon, and every single time I was flabbergasted to be proven wrong about the most batshit, "only an unhinged fanfic writer could have come up with this" level of lore.

The last straw was when people wouldn't stop going on about "slutty little Will Graham" and how he was practically asking for it and I thought, "I know we love our MLM ships on this here website but sometimes you guys just read too much into things. I know Hugh Dancy's handsome but it is simply physically impossible to 'seductively' lean against a ladder --

And then I saw it and was like, oh.

Wow. Boy was I wrong. Like he really just... did... that. Huh.

Ran his hands up and down the wood and everything. In a way that can only be described as stroking. Caressing.

And the heaving bosom? So unnecessary. Like, there's only so much I can defend.

And I had to accept that for once, even the thirstiest people in the fandom were not exaggerating. There really is no other explanation for this. They could announce Omegaverse to be canon in Season 4 and the plot of seasons 1-3 would still make sense with minimal changes. (He SCENTS the AIR whenever Will walks in, for fuck's sake.)

Having watched the show now, this is my formal apology for doubting you guys. Go forth and write your smut -- honestly it can't get worse than what they've already broadcast.

The funniest thing about Hannibal is that there are so many romantic/sexual screenshots from the show and the situation almost NEVER calls for it.

This scene they were talking about his declining mental health.

This scene he’s getting an ear shoved down his throat (don’t even try to say this scene isn’t sexual he’s on his knees and choking on a phallic object).

This scene he literally just got shot.

Here they watched a guy crawl out of a horse’s corpse.

Here he just fucking stabbed him.

This show did not need to be so freaked out. And over and over again it is. For no damn reason. It would be less homoerotic if they fucked each other.
