Ftm Reader x Homicidal Liu
When you first met Liu you honestly hated him, well that's what it seemed like at least. Every time you talked to him it was all passive aggressive comments and glares.
Of course the way you two met wasn't very traditional in fact you ran into each other under a bridge where he was staying
"Do you live here or something?" You asked seemingly with a sneer
But the next day you showed up under that same bridge searching for him with a basket in your hand
Inside was a packed lunch that you forcibly shoved into his hands wordlessly then walked away
The next day you did the exact same thing, then the day after that, and so on and so forth
Eventually you even gave him a key to your apartment "Take a shower, I can't stand the way you smell."
So he followed you home and took a shower, when he emerged from the warmth of the water there was a fresh set of clothes laying on the counter
When he was dressed and tried to leave you suddenly appeared behind him "Your clothes are drying and those are mine. I don't want them dirty, go on the couch."
From that day on Liu always had clean clothes, fresh food, and place to sleep. He had the perfect life but there was one problem.
Your attitude was abysmal, you always had some problem with Liu.
Whether it be he was too close to you, even if you were the one who was practically hugging his arm, or he was breathing too loudly it seemed like it was always something
Now Liu was a pretty passive kind of guy but he wasn't a complete doormat. He knew if he didn't say something then Sully would and that never ends well.
"What is your problem with me?" He had finally confronted you after dealing with you for over a month. To that your face turned a bright red "What are you talking about? If you don't like me then you can just leave."
So that's what he did, he left and didn't come back to your house.
Almost immediately though you were in a panic and searching around town in places you expected him to be staying.
You couldn't find him and when you couldn't find him you found yourself tearing up. So you headed to the bridge where the two of you met.
Soon enough you were full on sobbing before you realized someone was watching you "What do you want?" You practically blubbered attempting to appear tough. Though the effort was in vain.
With a sigh Liu sat down next to you and you started crying again clinging onto his jacket like a child.
Pulling you up from where the two of you were sitting Liu held your hand gently and guided you back to the house.
Once inside you sat down on the couch while Liu went into the kitchen. It took him a little while but eventually he came out with a plate of burnt food.
You couldn't help but giggle, wiping the tears from your eyes. "This looks terrible."
"I'm sure it tastes worse." Liu grumbled before giving you a peck on the forehead and grabbing for the plate. Only for you to stop him "Don't throw it out, that's a waste idiot."
He simply smiles in response to your comment as he watches you trying not to gag on the food.
From that day on you seemed to soften up, not much but enough that Liu took notice. You weren't calling him an asshole every other sentence or glaring at him as much.
One day he accidentally walked into the bathroom while you were changing when Liu entered to use the toilet.
"Quit staring and help or get the fuck out."
You only said this because you were struggling to pull your binder up over your head.
You had been on testosterone for years now so you passed pretty well. What you didn't do however was get top surgery, you were saving up for it though.
After Liu helped you out he asked if he could talk to you about it as he wanted to understand you better.
You, begrudgingly, answered all of his questions. "Could I give you your shot sometime?" He asked to which you blushed brightly.
Having him in your life generally seemed to improve your mood albeit a barely noticeable amount outwardly.
So one day you managed to work up enough courage to do something you never thought you could: ask Liu out. Of course you couldn't do it in a traditional manner.
So when Liu got home from searching for Jeff, which he had more or less given up on since meeting you, he was greeted with an interesting sight.
You sitting on the couch with a trail of roses leading into the kitchen. It was super corny but at the end was a small note.
It was heart felt and honest unlike your usual annoyed self.
"Did you write this?" He had asked almost incredulously.
Sending him a glare you finally speak. "Who the hell else would have done it?"
Needless to say Liu was flabbergasted but somehow felt the exact same way.
You only softened up more as time passed eventually becoming Liu's own grumpy little teddy bear.
