Thought more about these guys and though I still don't know what horrid crime Pollensting committed, she is the one that survives instead of Duckweedpatch. I'm also thinking about making more of an accidentally death instead of being downright killed by a Palmclan cat; maybe they got caught by the current or something not important rn

At first Pollensting doesn't think much of it, her focus is only herself and that she'll bounce back (note; I still have no idea what she does. idk what shes bouncing back to. I'll figure that out later) but as she's stuck as Palmclan's captive, it begins to set in that Duckweedpatch was dead. That's her guy, Duckweedpatch has always been by her side, her own henchman. And now she was dead. Duckweedpatch didn't do anything to anyone, she just existed to be by Pollensting's side. So why did she die? Pollensting becomes more and more...obsessed sort of over who Duckweedpatch was. What were her true goals? Why did she allow herself to be dragged into Pollensting's mess, or maybe she felt like she couldn't get out of it? None of these questions will get any answers because Duckweedpatch was dead. Pollensting blames herself and Palmclan, claiming she has to do something, to something to avenge Duckweedpatch. Do something for her.

Pollensting still uses the flowers, which are in fact lilies now. After running away, she finds a field of them away from the clans (I might give the patch some purpose in lore. For a plant that's extremely toxic to cats, it shouldn't be anywhere near the clans. and technically it isn't but Pollensting could still make the run to it and back). Either she knew of the patch when she was a rogue and saw it in the distance or she was just...lead there (which makes me want to give the field some sort of lore to it. A curse perhaps ?)

The Palmclan cats aren't jumping at the opportunity to chase after her. They only kept her in case of her being a threat off on her own but no one really expected her to take the death of Duckweedpatch so badly (supposedly. Some think she's just accepting defeat after being taken in. I don't imagine many cats talk to her). The patrol that was out walking with her (because she was. allowed to go outside with supervision) do go after her but they aren't really, trying, I guess, idk. I do find it really silly for like 8/10 of Palmclan to die from a flower but that's what happens because lilies cause kidney failure in less than 3 days so...

A lily wielding Pollensting returns to Palmclan. The only known survivor from this is the leader (whose identity I haven't figured out yet) as well as like. 3 lucky cats who weren't in camp with the rampaging Pollensting; who dies from wounds because she was also just fighting everyone she saw.

Bless Such small hands by La Dispute, it's what fueled by daydream to figure out what to do with ms Pollensting. (originally i was going to have it be a duckweedpatch song but she has so many already and i really needed to focus on her ladyy)

Pollensting creates this idea of Duckweedpatch that fuels on every decision. Someone full of regret, someone lost...which mostly describes Pollensting herself. When she dies and arrives in the Dark Forest, she reunites with Duckweedpatch (who purposefully went to the Dark Forest because that's where Pollensting would be) and she tries to apologize. She wants to do something better...treat Duckweedpatch better or whatever she needs but Duckweedpatch shoots down the idea. She sees Pollensting as selfish, arrogant, someone who only does what interests her, and that's who she wants Pollensting to be.

To Duck, if Pollensting was doing this to appease her own guilt , she would be a lot more acceptable to it and would actually go with it. But she isn't. Duckweedpatch doesn't want Pollensting to "better herself" that's not the cat she died for. And it isn't the act of improving or whatever, it's that Duck has Pollensting one this high pedestal and sees no reason for Pollensting to bring it down to everyone else's level.

This conflicts Pollensting alot because...huh ? She's trying to apologize and the one she feels extremely guilty for, is saying she shouldn't be sorry at all. In fact, Duckweedpatch is offended at the idea that Pollen felt the need to do that for her.

Then something else happens that results in their ghosts like fusing together or whatever. Which I imagine is something that has happened before (not...often) but it usually results in a different cat, this time the ghost looks exactly like Pollensting. "it's you. despite everything it's still you" or something idk.

The lore still needs some major fixing but it's better than the storyline I had before....

OUGH i really want to talk about this new oc verse. someone take star out of my vocab because i keep inserting it into titles of stuff. I think I'll call this Celestial Rot. maybe

There's one clan, but I kind of want to step away from warrior cat worldbuilding. and name it something other than PrefixClan. Same with Starclan I don't want to call it that. - Said group is being led by this awful guy. I don't know what the specifics of his crimes are other than every so often he'll hunt down his own clanmates. And keeps them from leaving. I've been calling him both Ravenstar and Pluto. Ravenstar has been leading for a very, very long time

There are things that can be used to grant wishes !! But the presences of them is unknown, at least currently.

Every now and then, Ravenstar will gather his clan to be apart of an Olympic event, ranking those for battle prowess, agility, survivability, things that that nature - no one knows what happens to the winners or the purpose of these test, they only know Ravenstar does not appreciate when the clan doesn't do it. Those who "lose" the events don't face any backlash. - the participants do not included apprentices or young warrior. Does include queens depending on the age of their kits, but this varies. Same with the involvement of elders. Cats just assume it's whatever Ravenstar is feeling in that moment :/

The story actually kicks off when one warrior, Lilyfoot [placeholder name] notices that there's sadness coming from Ravenstar. An emotion that clashes with everything that is Ravenstar. He causes sadness, he forces everyone into a terrified state, always unsure of his next move, or what he's planning. Why in the world would he be sad? Lilyfoot's urge to investigate does not come from pity, Ravenstar is cruel and unjust; he does not deserve pity. - Lilyfoot at first tries to ignore it but it's still there, ever after the first time it was noticed, Lilyfoot cannot ignore that something is sad. Just gotta figure out what that is. that's all I can share without spoiling anything.

another dark forest inhabitant (in the same universe as nettlestar & almondflight if anyone remembers them...<3 diff from melted ice) to be more specific

rn her name is lovesick but i think im gonna have that be her dark forest name/title (depending on the actions committed, a cat is given a diff name as a way to erase any good they did. the only focus is on the bad and thats what the name is far. for example darkeneddream's clan/warrior name was bugeyes and he had to be a good enough cat to be appointed deputy)

"Lovesick" was some cat's henchman idk who that cat is rn though but im thinking she was willingly going along with her. they weren't partners in crime. she was just working for this other guy. important. They were also from the same clan but I guess left ? idk what other guy's end goal was

said main evildoer was caught and killed. lovesick was taken in to the clan that defeated her, and even though her personality before was never too energetic before, cats def saw that she seemed more down that usual and chalked it up to her mourning. she wasn't though. she was just idk bored ? she was saved when she was never in trouble, Lovesick describes the other cat as "as the one star in the vast empty blue sky" she didn't worship this other cats, just thought they were fun to be around. I'll have to actually give this other lady structure before I land on what their relationship was

Someone who was on the road of mayhem, was forcefully taken out of it, only to go back to it...idk what she does

anyway i think as some tale told by the living cats, there's something about either saving someone who hasn't asked to be saved or something...because she most definitely did not consider herself as someone who needed it or if it's to completely erase anything she ever did, lovesick is a cat who haunts those falling in or out of any sort of love. if thats the case she'll have to had to do something REALLY bad

there's also this part of her story i want to include about rot and sickness. i think i could play that into butterflies in stomach thing.

The pieces are very thrown about bare with me but her whole premise is treated as something un-serious when I think. in reality when she was around, it was something Very serious because cats were getting sick for seemingly no reason - i was thinking she could use daffodils but i also want lovesick to succumb to it too. aka die from it but daffodil poisoning doesnt usually result in death. it's just the first flower i saw that causes stomach pain so

As a ghost, she is "forever" fused with the ghost of the main antagonist lady. you can see a part of her on the other cat's shoulder (it's probably just an eye or maybe her fur.)

for her actual name im thinking something duck- or duckweed- i've always loved duck as a prefix but i want to use more plant themed names hence duckweed but no suffixes come to mind

"Main evildoer"s name is now Pollenstrike (or Pollensting I keep switching back & forth between the two) Moons ago, probably before both cats parents were born there were three cats foreseen by Starclan to commit various atrocities, their victim list would have been endless; would have being the key word. The three's mother (Hollowflower or Hollowheart/Hollownight for her Dark Forest name ) couldn't get rid of the bad feeling she had about her kits. Something about them was off to her. When she would share her worries, the advice wouldn't be helpful- as others considered her to just be a worried first time parent. Even if she was offered help, it didn't do anything, nobody saw what she did. Nobody knew what was going on, Hollowflower didn't know what was going on but one thing was for sure; these kits weren't going to bring anything good. So she got rid of them. For safety. Starclan knew of the path the kits were going to go down, but they did not see what Hollowflower was going to do; or at least, nobody thought she'd go along with it.

But now whatever cruel fate was going to happen to the clans at the paws of these kits when they were grown, wasn't going to happen. All's well that end's well. If that was the case, there's a certain section of Starclan cats that feel as if destiny was thrown off balance. There was lives that they were being turned upside down, graves that were going to filled. None of that is going to happen now. At least, not as it was supposed to. Those select few who think what they saw had to happen, did their best to put "destiny back on course". That is where Pollensting comes in. She was one of those cats who could be a solution. During this time, Starclan cats weren't as efficient in this sort of thing as they are in the present. When one caught wind that Pollensting may be a missing piece, Starclan pushed that narrative very strongly. I'm currently unsure of the details but it's constantly told to the medics of Oreclan (her & Duckweedpatch and another cat named Elm...something. were born in Oreclan). Pollensting's relationship with Duckweedpatch is surprisingly sweet ! That's Pollensting' bestest friend in the whole wide world. Pollensting does not seem like the type to be capable of doing anything remotely bad but still, cats keep their guard up. She knows this and I think, at first, she plays into the role a bit. She doesn't take it seriously since she doesn't really get how serious this sort of thing is (she would be young at this time). Cats also try to get Duckweedpatch away from her, worried that Pollensting would drag her into something bad. Eventually the two leave Oreclan and just...wander for a bit. I haven't developed Pollensting much but it's no surprise to think once she understands what's happened and how others see and think of her, she doesn't think too fondly of the clans ! ("Whaaaa Whatdoyamean they all think im actually evil :((") When she was younger I do think she'd play a role, like twisting her villainous mustache, rubbing her hands together all mischievously an' shit 💀but its all just for jokes right? right? guys :( ??))

Fast forward to after her death. Since she wasn't within the clans (and stayed around the vicinity. Cats began getting worried that she was plotting something, a fear fed into by those in Starclan who wanted those tragedies that were going to happen in the past to happen now. Though, since it wasn't the same cat doing those things, I wouldn't be a perfect reenactment. It was still worth it though. Duckweedpatch wanted revenge, they took her special star from her. The tragedy that was thought to be done by Pollensting happened after when Duckweedpatch carried out her plan. Which is basically covering herself in pollen and interacting with as many cats as possible. Still unsure on what that plant is though.

Like with lovers you can just sever it and not have it related to you ever again but with siblings how could you?

You grow up with them you raise them or they raised you you both know how unforgiving the world is to both of you? You would die for them but will hate them for doing the same and yet none of you would regret it and both of you know it. They could be the person you loath the most and miss the most cause you still remember how they sneaked a candy into your hands. You can sever the tie but you can never look away at what you've lost, at whom you've lost because fate doesn't allow you to be together, eating dinners in quiet peace, if only there's another life, another time, where i can make you another plate of pancakes i would im sorry im sorry im sorry —
