genuinely the hockey obsession fucking gets you when you're least expecting it lol but i am so happy!!! we have to do watch parties of pwhl games for sure

i'm super excited about pwhl san jose too!! i mean obv they're not gonna surpass my other fav teams (cough cough victoire) but man, they're looking good!! obv they have edwards but also schroeder & chan in goal, and then guilday on D, & then kristen o'neill, maddi wheeler, & my goat natalie mlynková on offense?? honestly they're really growing on me

i will say. expansion has emotionally devastated me a little bit. so i am trying very very hard to not form negative opinions of the new teams bc i know nothing of them. however internally i am sobbing bc WDYM we lost our captain AND our best defender AND our best goalie AND one of our primary scorers? not to mention buglioni and carter and habisch and langseth and bryant and keopple ?? our roster has been decimated and we really haven't recovered at all and of course VAN is getting off scot free ughh

anyways sorry i went on a tangent but all of this to say that my initial instinct in terms of SJ is how could you do this to us but i am trying to overcome my gut reactions. and knowing that you're a sj fan has helped endear them to me a bit :) (i am still crying in the corner thinking about the torrent tho)

yeahhh thats sort of the vibe i have been getting from older pwhl fans . granted i was not tapped in last season so i cant really relate but i think next season will be lots of fun!! hopefully i can get you even more on board with sj haha :)

yeahhh expansion was rough for everyone but the torrent lowk got hit the hardest. atp i think something must have happened in the locker room bc we had 5 us olympians and still ended up in last AND fumbled the 1OA pick for a generational defender so badly that our coach got fired like immediately after. and then literally everyone who could leave did, and then took really long contacts everywhere else. and also the player who fumbled the pick for us is like one of the only ones who stayed :// anyways its a shame you weren't locked in for last season bc ignoring all the torrent torment that season was baller! definitely not biased by my love of the victoire and their cup win not at all lol. crossing my fingers that this next season will be equally fun (except the torrent, we'll be in last place again for sure, don't worry). i am actually really hyped bc there was a lot of SDHL (swedish women's hockey league) talent that came over (vainikka, nieminen, laitinen, johansson, bouveng) and also some olympic talent as well (durante, brandli, pistekova, maurer) and i really can't wait to see them in action & watch their transition to pwhl playstyles. esp vainikka on the frost, that's gonna be so so good i think. anyways can you tell i am crazy about hockey? it's the offseason and i still have so many thoughts

yikes that sounds pretty rough .. honestly yeah id believe it if there was locker room stuff going on cause with that amount of talent resulting in last place as well as everybody leaving ?? crazy. yesss very very exciting stuff next season !! im not too aware of a lot of these players (cause im new to the pwhl) so if you want to yap abt them more in depth i would be so happy to listen !!

i just saw les mis and oh my god it was incredible !!!!!! gorgeous set design and just everything about it was really really awesome (also i hope youre doing well !!)

YESYES IT WAS SO SO INCREDIBLE!! i lovedddd the fight at the barricade cause it was really cool on stage like the way it was pretty much fully stationary but still felt so tense and how they used the lighting omggg perfection. especially when gavroche was shot (rip but the lighting really went off right then)

i will be so honest it has been a while so i dont remember everything incredibly well but . i do quite like eponine and ofc jvj is wonderful and i thought the thenardiers were really good comic relief ! they were not really incredible in the movie version but i quite liked them onstage ! (i did try to read the book but i was super busy and lwk fell into a reading slump so i have not finished it and do not rlly remember who combeferre is sorryyyy. i will finish it one day i promise !!)
