The forsaken and forgotten
Gentle, as he sank his teeth
The world turned upside down his feet
And he became all soft inside
'How strange', he thought
'That I would feel so free,
The moment that life flees from me.'
Sinking into arms that would not hold,
But let him go instead
As soon the flames grew cold
And alls desires had been fed
But Sensations of all consuming kind
Aroused inside, by tender kiss-
Or was that just his mind?
Creating, so that he would miss
The pain caused by this kind of treat
But no, the stain around his lips
Could not be just a fantasy
Like metal tastes and ardency
It took a while to catch his breath
Smelling the cold misty air,
the scent of his hair
And wondered if faith alone
Could really safe forsaken souls
With everything he learned by now
And fear clutched at his heart
How long had he been unaware,
The magnitude of all he cared?
And as he healed away the hurt
he realised the strong embrace
Holding him, firmly secured
"Be careful Angel, ere you fall."
The ancient said, suggesting resting seats
Bemused and thoughtful, he agreed
And wished, he could recall
If this was still compassion
What kind of sentiment this secret had begotten
Had woven into souls and hearts
Of the forsaken and forgotten
