Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon

It is a relatively quiet morning in the Wright-Edgeworth household, until Trucy Wright has an interesting suggestion for the day's activities: the roller rink she frequents is currently having a discount on family tickets, for that weekend only. Whether they want to or not, she manages to get both Phoenix and Miles into skates and in the crowded rink, where they get a chance to find out just how terrible their senses of balance really are.

A very short wrightworth family work that I've had fully outlined since late January. Life got in the way, as did the Good Omens finale (which drove me absolutely up the wall, so I'm working on something big having to do with that currently), so it took a long time to actually get working on this one. Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.

It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.

It's rude.

Love Letters

Aziraphale and Crowley, in their free time now that Armageddon has been stopped, go to a newly-opened museum together…a museum that somehow got ahold of some old letter correspondences between them.

My first posted work on AO3, which I decided to publish on a whim (look where I am now)!! This one takes place in between seasons 1 and 2 of Good Omens, and is little more than a glimpse into their lives at the time. If you couldn't already tell, I enjoy putting Aziraphale and Crowley in situations that fill in some of the blanks regarding things that aren't quite spoken for in canon. The Apology Dance

It's been an agonizingly long six months since Aziraphale returned to Heaven, taking his position as Supreme Archangel. Crowley cares for the bookshop alone today and spends the day drunkenly wandering the shelves, when the sound of the doorbell alerts him to someone else's presence.

This was written over a year before the finale of Good Omens came out, hence its...hopefulness. I miss the Jay of the past, who had so much faith. Please excuse anything possibly OOC-- I wrote this one somewhat self-indulgently after rewatching seasons 1 and 2 and deciding I needed to do something about it. If you decide to have a look, I do hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

Do You Want To Be A Star?

Up until that busted CRT made its way into Mettaton's room, his ghostly life had been completely devoid of pleasure. So, when said busted CRT begins to talk to him and an unlucky (or lucky?) power outage confirms that the thing is in fact sentient, Mettaton finds himself unable to resist entering a world he had always dreamed of: the world of TV stardom, of wonder, of glamour, of everyone knowing your name. Meanwhile, for one Mr. Ant Tenna, the stage has gotten lonely. Seasons upon seasons of laughter and joy had come at a price: the inevitability of his kind (albeit pointy) face becoming stale on his viewers' screens. When that darling Susie finally finds him a new home, he instantly knows what's missing: a co-star. And right in front of him was the perfect candidate.

Another older one, from when I was inescapably caught in the grasp of of mettatenna shortly after chapters 3 and 4 of Deltarune came out. This one was incredibly fun to write, and if I'm remembering correctly, it was one of the first 50 or so fics under the MTTenna tag on AO3! I hope you have as much fun reading it as I did writing it!
