Hi, I'm Dana Marie. Stand Up Sing Out is an anti-bullying campaign that I've created for my Girl Scout Gold Award that uses music as a solution to bullying. I hold events around my community in support of anti-bullying, featuring various musicians and guest speakers. With your help, we can use music to come together as one and stop bullying for good. This blog is dedicated to inspiring people to be themselves, feel confident within themselves, and loving themselves. i’ve been away

Hi Tumblr.  I don’t know if anyone still really follows/checks this blog, but recent events have made me think of it, and I felt the need to post. It’s been over 4 years since I began this blog and this campaign for my Girl Scout Gold Award, and it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here.  I’ve grown as a person and as a musician, and my Girl Scout commitments are long gone, but one thing hasn’t changed.  I want to help people, I was to inspire people.  I want to show love through music and I’ve really missed doing that through this outlet. Stress and general busy-ness of life has clouded my vision lately, and I want to change that.  I want to take my own stress and turn that energy into doing good for the world and for others. Here’s to a new start, Stand Up Sing Out :)
