i love domestic chainshipping as much as the next person but i feel like there's so much untapped potential if people just wrote them a little more fucked up. like yeah we all know about lawrence's need to control, but what about adam's craving to be controlled? when it came down to it, lawrence did what he had to in order to get out of the cuff when adam couldn't. adam begged lawrence to still be alive because he couldn't do it without him. the only reason adam killed zepp was because he was about to kill lawrence, zepp already thought adam was dead so there was no real need for him to do that but he did it to save lawrence. damm near every choice adam made in that bathroom was to cater towards lawrence. adam needs to be controlled, it's engrained into him so much for whatever reason that even though lawrence had just shot him in an attempt to kill him, he brutalizes a man for him and only stops because lawrence intervenes
