Currently in the process of planning out a fanfiction centered around the triumvirate holdings. My goal with this is to try to write the three emperors in a more historically accurate way and I’ll be exploring the concept of Roman emperors as gods, along with Roman mythology.

The main character of the fic will be my oc Aelia, a demigod child of Bacchus who was adopted by Caligula as a toddler (similar to how Nero had stepchildren).

I saw this on Facebook and it made me giggle because it was about the three emperors that were in trials of Apollo

It’s insane how much toa has caused me to learn. I don’t rely on the books for accurate information on these three, but they made me so interested in Caligula, so now I know way too much about him. I don’t know as much about Nero and Commodus, I know a little more on Nero than Commodus.

Anyways the point is, a children’s book series is the reason I’m majoring in archaeology and minoring in history.

As much as I love Octavian, he would not last in a game of capture the flag at camp half-blood

I know it’s pretty similar to war games, except for the fact that the Greeks are not as organized as the Romans and the only rule is no killing

Not to mention the fact that camp half-blood is all demigods, while a good majority of camp jupiter are legacies, including Octavian, who’s family has been there for about a century, he most likely does not have much godly blood

I’m just saying Octavian could not handle a bunch of unhinged demigods

I wonder how Will got a tattoo at sixteen cause in NY you can’t give minors tattoos even with consent. I doubt he’d let one of the campers give him one because of sanitary issues. The most logical solution to me then is that he asked Mr. D to give him a tattoo.
