Thought it’d be nice for ppl to see the sillies refs! They’re full of crimes and live hyrule like it’s a comedy action flick (meanwhile the rest of the audience is going through their horror drama era).

Day 44- GERUDO TOWN

Bug Zapper 9000 worked too well. Not only did we get the terrifying normal corpses, we accidentally found its brood mother that can summon localized sandstorms to protect its underlings.

At least it got chased away by Riju’s lightning. Big win.

Day 32- Abandoned Equestrian Riding Course

DAY 30- LURELIN VILLAGE

The destruction of a village by a corrupted machine of war is nostalgic to Zelda the way a knife in the spine is. Like missing a step in the dark, or seeing a flash of a ghost— she’s suddenly viscerally reminded of a history she had left behind, a hundred and five years ago.

But you never forget your roots, not really.

(This totk au is called Familiar Familiar! Zelda never goes back in time. Everything shifts slightly to the left. The scars from botw are still present, and still painful. The usual shenanigans ensue anyways.)
