Planet Crafter is soooo good. The premise is that you're accused of a crime, and to get the charges dropped (you haven't even been convicted!) you have to terraform a planet. It is strongly implied that you were sent to die. And when you land and start the process you're told that the first milestone, at 175,000 points, is a clear blue sky. You're on a red desert planet with a red and yellow sky and you get to work.
And so I'm assuming that at that point you get a cinematic where the sky turns blue, but at less than half of that I look up and think, huh, the horizon is still yellow but if I look straight up it's kind of pink now... fifteen thousand points later I'm losing my shit because it's definitely turning purple. It's so fucking awesome watching the very gradual changes that take place as you terraform the planet. I'm now creating bodies of water and realised just before bed that all the collectible ice has disappeared. My first sign that lakes were starting to form was finding a puddle in a crater. This game is awesome!
