This is how you get your entire SP posted onto r/SystemCringe and get mocked and put on blast. while yes it's unfortunate and they shouldn't be doing that in the first place, this is really the only way to avoid these types of things happening since the Subreddit is still a thing.

Do not post your user in Discord servers and accept friend requests from people you barely know (Because, again, r/SC users are known for going into System servers and lurking)

it's weird to police other systems' littles & using myself as an example, even if I wasn't able to handle mature topics, the rest of the system is very into media that handles them. So naturally, I'd end up knowing just from being in the same space as them.

USING NAMES FROM CULTURES YOU AREN'T PART OF IS FINE!!! SO LONG AS: the culture is open, you do research on the culture's naming system, and do research on the specific name's meaning, origins, and cultural significance

If the name is very culturally significant and used for like... idk, random imaginary example: royalty only or something... DON'T USE IT. But otherwise— and so long as you're following the guidelines above— literally do WHATEVER YOU WANT. NO ONE CARES

I am BEGGING people to learn what cultural appropriation actually is. This is cultural APPRECIATION, not appropriation

ALSO. Because I see this in particular alot: JAPANESE IS NOT A CLOSED CULTURE (afaik). Maybe historically, but not anymore. But again, follow the guidelines above if you wanna use a Japanese name, just like you should with any name from any culture you aren't a part of

I know this is like an age old discussion in system spaces, but if I see one more minor in a syscord say "we have an introject from an anime and we don't want to 'appropriate' so they 'need' a new name" I might tweak out. Like it's fine if the introject genuinely just wants a new name but I promise they don't NEED one unless you've done no research into their original name at all

Anywayssssss i have a question! How did you tell your sib that ur a sys and how did u both figure out yall are both systems?

I think our old host (Syilas) had tried to do a soft launch to our sib but it didnt work lmao. Feel free to not answer this btw!! :P

kinda long answer lol, but thanks for The question!

Well it wasn't long after we had discovered our system we did, but we are extremely close with our sibling system and always have been.

We discovered ourselves first, and just waited till a calm time when nothing was happening. And before hand had hyperfixated on systems for about a month (which actually led to our system discovery lol) so was constantly talking about it and explained a lot of stuff to them before ever revealing it.

At that time their host was a persecutor and quite frankly kinda toxic to us so they kinda just processed it and then ignored us for a while, (despite short bursts of Interest when their other alters we're fronting)

After that due to one of their alters being gay as hell when their host was homophobic at the time they discovered their system/silly/HJ and had a host change. We helped them through syscovery so that's the reason we know they are one.

Later after a while we learned that in past years our headmates (that knew about the systems) had interacted between each other and so their was already some connection that neither hosts we're aware of.

that's all I can think to answer, honestly the moment of doing it was extremely nerve wracking and stressful but it worked out okay lol.

I do see a lot of DID symptoms in our sib so maybe if we do a approach like that then they will syscover? (if they are a system at that)

i think some of u are kinda shitty towards systems with low headcounts.

i get high headcounts are... DIFFICULT. but for the love of god please stop putting down other systems at your own expense. it fucks us up really bad that just because there's less of us, people think we "have it easy".
