It’s the fact they can be good writers, but they’re letting themselves down. If they were always bad writers then yeah, but their not I have no idea what is going on but something seems off behind the scenes

It really shouldn’t be a drag to watch a soap god it really shouldn’t and the worst thing is it is so fixable!! So FIXABLE! people shouldn’t be waiting for the days to pass to get to some point in the future where they might or might not enjoy it! Pulling teeth is easier than whatever is going on! They need a new producer and just absolutely new crew. Writers need to be sent to work shops and creativity groups. This is just watching a car crash in slow motion. I don’t like anyone on the show anymore and that is the most odd feeling ever I finished today’s episode and just stared and asked why am I even watching? Hahahah it was just such a weird moment to have with myself because honestly why am I even watching if everything I ever loved about this show is in the bin!

We definitely need a new producer and I’m genuinely surprised she’s even still my there, not even just Emmerdale but soaps in general don’t usually have a producer this long they usually switch them up every few years and I don’t understand why we’ve still got two producers after 8 years like surely it’s time for a change? As for the writers, they let themselves down. We’ve had good episodes written by them, they know how to do it yet right now you would think these are new ones who have no idea about the show

Wasn't "Aaron offers serena a job at the farm" supposed to be today's A plot. I swear I saw it on ep description thingy as first point and in bold? Isn't that how they point out A/B/C plots? Like why was aaron saying 2 sentences in today's ep a spoiler? Wouldn't robert giving kev 25th advice on how to treat his oldass son be A-plot?

My opinion... The show has written itself into a corner with Kev, alt because some fans said they loved a karaoke scene.

I know some find him amusing. But I wonder if they find him interesting? He’s a walking one-liner. A one-trick pony. Should’ve been a one stint character. He has no longevity if he stayed the way he was. This sanitized version of him, though? Makes him even more one note and boring.
