Here's another silly headcanon I have for the love of my life, Macuil. So the other surviving Nabataens keep their ears carefully hidden, right?

Macuil gives absolutely zero fucks. He keeps his hair in a ponytail because the desert is hot. If someone points them out he just says that they are a genetic mutation. Or says nothing. Just glares.

In the silly little Three Houses crack/modern au I got going on in my head, we have anthropology professor Macuil, tired, drinking an espresso concoction from hell that hates everything modern. Would he be the campus cryptid?

NO!

The campus cryptid is obviously marine biology professor Indech. He's found sleeping in strange places like on a bookshelf or under the stairs, on the floor, in the fountain. IN THE FOUNTAIN. People sometimes catch him praying to a turtle figurine in his office. He (and Flayn) speaks to the fish. The fish respond. Silently, but they respond.

Aroace Indech is PEAK you're genius

I gotta know what you think him and Macuil look like, your headcanons are my favorite

You're so sweet, anon. I'm glad you like my silly headcanons for these alien dragons.

As for how they look? Macuil is tall. Seven feet even. He hunches and bends his knees slightly because the world doesn't take his height into account. Very lanky with little muscle because he's a mage. Now wait a sec, you may say, didn't he make the Sacred Weapons? Yes, he did...with Indech. Some lore somewhere states that it was actually Indech who forged the weapons himself while Macuil imbued them with his dragon-starlight-ancient whatever magic. Anyways, he has long, pine green hair he keeps in a high ponytail and has a slight tan, because of course you'll tan if you're a recluse in a desert, also, can't grow facial hair for shit. He gets slight, patchy stubble and that's it. As for his eye color, it's that almost startling shade green Ulquiorra from Bleach has. Macuil has deep bruises around his eyes because my headcanon is that the poor dragon-man has trauma. Deep trauma. He doesn't sleep as often as you would think regardless of how the paralogue starts/ends. And like I said in a tag, BIG middle child tired energy. BIG complex feelings about Seiros. Also, just based on his few lines with Seteth, I headcanon our dragon-man as a pacifist who only ever fights to defend himself. Any other time, he just asks you to fuck off or ignores you. Just picture a tired male nurse or teacher in his mid-30s, and you have a base for Macuil.

Now for Indech, my turtle-dragon-sleepy aroace KING. In my headcanon the eldest sibling AND a short king at 5'8". And he has MUSCLES. You don't forge the Sacred Weapons or pull the string for a bow called The Inexhaustible unless you're fucking built and thick. I picture him slightly rugged and a little more aged in the face like Jeralt. He has long, seaweed green hair streaked with a bit of silver. It's the hair type that starts wavy and has tight coils at the ends. It's a bit wild but he keeps it brushed. His eyes are like the lakes he seems to love, shifting green-blues depending on how the light hits them. I like the lore that he was shy, and I like to add in he's a bit whimsical with a deep love for fish. He names them and makes up funny stories for them too. Based on his line that he had always wanted to meet Flayn makes me think he didn't even really see her during the war, which makes me wonder if he left it early, before Cethleann/Flayn joined, or if he arrived/joined (a bit too) late. He has regrets, I think. Deep, like still water.
