Some things about me:

I’ve lived in hatchetfield my whole life, was even conceived backstage at the old Starlight Theater, which is also, coincidentally, what I was named after. You guys probably know my cousin, Harmony. She’s usually seen downtown harassing people to get them to save the planet or something.

Hatchetfield high class of ‘15 (go nighthawks!). Went to HFCC for a couple semesters but dropped out to focus on my art full-time. Now I live in Pinebrook in my parent’s shed and work on my craft. Although, I’ve been pretty busy lately…

Hi, I’m Jay! @magicalcorvid is my main blog. This account is for my Hatchetfield OC, Starlight Jones. She’s my PC for @suddenly-likes-musicals’s Hatchetfield DnD campaign. Will tag things related to that accordingly.

[Carameldansen plays menacingly as a translucent disco ball spins above Dispatch’s head. Multi-colored lights light up his cubicle but don’t seem to stretch to the rest of the office.]

[Supernova stands by the water cooler, watching to see Dispatch’s reaction. Ever since she figured out she could give people their own personal rave, she’d been making it everyone else’s problem. At least this one wasn’t incredibly disorienting like it was when she was in the field. Just mildly annoying.]

Okay, stick to the outsides. When he gets like this, he tends not to pay much attention to-

[He falls silent when the music and lights start, all emotion draining from his face.]

[He mutes his headset and pulls it down around his neck, leaning back in his chair and looking to Supernova at the water cooler.]

*Sybil sits with their feet up on a desk in a dark office, dozens of monitors line the wall in front of them. There is a bowl of popcorn in their lap and several pieces scattered on the floor from where they tried to toss it in their mouth and missed.*

*They turn around to face Andy, looking them up and down before motioning to the popcorn machine in the corner.*

It appears I’m on babysitting duty today…

Very well, pull up a chair, grab some popcorn. You ever play the sims?

*On the screen is Leif and Starlight as children, walking through the witch woods. Sybil clicks Starlight’s backpack and selects the option “giggle”*

Things have been getting a little bit chummy with them.

*In the game, Leif starts interrogating an increasingly-nervous Starlight about what is in her backpack. Eventually, it is revealed that there is a blinky doll in there. It devolves into an argument as Sybil leans back in their chair.*

*he squeals as the two start arguing, and is thrown into a fit of laughter as the argument continues*

are these characters actually them? or is it really jus’ a game?
