#1 (what do you think is the appeal of their dynamic) with romantic tayden for the ship ask game !!

I think this goes for both platonic and romantic tayden, but for me it's Taylor's wordless acceptance of Aiden's little quirks and 'bad' (or 'concerning', stuff that people don't want to deal with) thoughts, her willingness to hear him out no matter how much he talks. She's the perfect listener Aiden always looked for: tactful and supportive, as well as observant and easygoing, patient with him and the things he puts her through.

But it is also the moments where Aiden is not expected to be the one doing the talking. He might not be the best at listening yet, but he has a person he could slowly learn it from; a person he would like to learn it for and from. Taylor is just as much of a yapper as Aiden is, so I imagine domestic Tayden as Aiden being comfortably quiet, listening to Taylor telling him about her day in the background. Taylor is the perfect match for him, because she can both be there for him when he has a whole series of novels worthy of thoughts to pour down onto her, as well as during the moments when he doesn't feel like talking at all, but still doesn't feel like being in full silence (a consequence of his parents' neglect, I imagine; a silent house is an empty house, and there is nothing Aiden hates more than being completely alone. He doesn't want to feel left alone ever again. It's something they will have to work through, and something I imagine Taylor will have full undestanding for, given her separation anxiety with Tyler, as well the patience to take it one step at a time as they figure it out together)

this might be my biggest hot take but any ship is immediately ten times better when it's queer platonic

like romantic bonds are cool and all, but you know what's even cooler? when characters are able to love each other so deeply that they cross the line between platonic and romantic but instead enter into a secret third option

society tries so hard to deem a qpr's emotional capability as less than a romantic relationship's, but it's simply not true

Theyde be so cute BUT here's why its not gonna happen

Aiden has feelings for Ashlyn canonically and we know A. Ben is very observant, especially when it comes to his cousin friends or sister. B. Aiden has probably already told Ben atp he likes Ashyln. Therefor, C. Ben would never ask out Ashlyn or admit any feelings for her while full well knowing Aiden also likes her, even a little bit, even for a while after.

This is what makes him such an amazing friend and relative, hes quiet but while being so quiet he picks up a lot of things.

I think the most probable ships that might happen is probably AidLyn or TyLyn, and besides Ashlyn I think BenLr (benxTayler) is possible.

i mean A, yeah, B, likely, C of course but that's why qpr benlyn would solve all this. though i'm not very knowledgeable on relationships and dating, it is possible to be in a qpr while also maintaining a romantic relationship, no ? queer platonic and romantic relationships are two separate things that can coexist with each other !

and besides, in the case that aiden didn't like ashlyn i do believe benlyn would be canon. ashlyn canonically enjoys ben's company the most out of the group, so if she were to be in a relationship with anybody i feel like it would be him

I’ll believe in anything by wolf parade is VERY tnt twins coded tbh (specifically Tyler’s pov of it) and I’ve been daydreaming them every time I put that song on

-> Tyler and Taylor having to care for themselves and face this world without the guidance of an adult (being brave) since a very young age (bowed legs are a normal developmental phase of infants and toddlers, a hyperbole for how young the two were)

i found this on pinterest and thought it would be good to talk about it

so i don’t know how other people feel about daniel clark but i personally don’t like him still. sure, he’s funny sometimes, silly sometimes, kinda a ditz. does that hide the neglect towards aiden? does it hide the fact that he forced aiden into his image as a child? does it hide the fact that aiden was genuinely pushed under the rug? i don’t think it does. daniel is an objectively bad parent. just because he defends aiden sometimes or is there for him sometimes it doesn’t make up for when he is not. i suppose most of this is my opinion so i’d love to hear your guys opinions on this! but i just feel like we are getting this wrong guys he is literally kind of a monster? and i do think he is a moneyholic (maybe not as much as jessica), maybe a workaholic more so. but one thing is that is don’t think that he is irredeemable. but he is not there yet. also i see people frame him as the better parent out of the two but aren’t they the same? they both do the same things to aiden.

maybe i'm too woke but i really do think the love daniel gets versus the hate jessica gets is an example of misogyny.

besides maybe a few differences between them, their behavior is, as far as we know, the same. i don't think jessica needs more love in the slightest, she's horrible, but daniel deserves hate, too.

no, he's is not "baby-coded", that's a grown ass man with a wife and kid. it's easy to acknowledge that maybe he's a funny character at times, but that's no excuse for the neglect he put his kid through. did we forget about this ? :

aiden was noticeably rotting in his room, not even trying to hide it, and daniel's biggest concern was a publisher screwing up :

and all of what i've just said is what the fandom projects onto jessica alone. sure she might not be as "funny" as daniel is but why doesn't anyone acknowledge her "kindness" and use that as an excuse not to hate her ? :

oh, yeah, because she's not actually as kind as she's made out to be.

just like how daniel isn't as silly as he's made out to be.
