Realised that I haven't posted this one on here yet, so here it is :))
I powered through art block just to make sad fanart of my favourite character for his birthday
I was bored so I made a bunch of supernatural text post memes. Expect more

More minor MaxSandra details: At the end of the autopsy scene in "A Trial to Watch", when the set is pulled apart you can hear Sandra let out a concerned "Max" as she realises that the table that Max is laying on is about to be pulled apart underneath him
By the way, I went to see the Swedish production of The Play That Goes Wrong today and it annoyed me so bad, which is why I'm now watching all of The Goes Wrong Show to cleanse my palate
I just started re-watching The Goes Wrong Show and I'm currently on "The Pilot (Not the Pilot)" and I just noticed that when Max falls over at the end of the interrogation scene Sandra looks really worried and you can see her hold up a quick thumbs up to check if Max is okay😭

Slight TW: Talking about death and guilt
Okay I want to preface this by saying that I'm not a subscriber to the Dndads patreon (I'm so sorry😔) so I don't have access to Talking Dad, and therefore am unaware of whether or not they've actually discussed this topic. But either way I'm going to rant cause I've been re-listening to s1 of dndads (for the ninth time) and I can't stop thinking about this.
Does Glenn blame himself for Morgan being dead?
Even if he knows that he didn't cause the crash and even if he knows that he couldn't prevent it, does he still blame himself? Cause like a lot of people blame themselves after a loved one is in an accident of some sort, even if they had no control over it, but if you one day wake up and find out that your partner (who in your universe is dead) actually married someone else and now they're alive, wouldn't you start wondering if their accident somehow was your fault. That somehow you're to blame for their passing?
Does Glenn stay awake at night going through all his memories with Morgan, trying to figure out what he did that could have led to that accident? Does he look at Jodie and wonder about what part of his and Morgan's relationship meant that she survived? Does he stare at Morgan and question if she'd be better of without him, because what if them being together only ends with her getting hurt?
Does Glenn think it's his fault that Morgan died?
Thinking about Nick. Thinking about Nicholas. Thinking about Nicky.
Nick who lost his mum at an early age and repressed his grief and his feelings about his mother's passing to the point where when he's asked about her death he says that "It's not a big deal". Nick who had to learn to fend for himself from an early age because his mum was dead and his dad would often be gone for several weeks. Nick who began smoking and doing drugs as a kid because it was a habit that Bill passed down to Glenn, and that Glenn in turn passed down to Nick. Because addiction runs in their family, so Nick fell subject to it as well despite having undiagnosed asthma. Nick who, just as all the other kiddads, was kidnapped, separated from his dad and the other kids, and sold into slavery. Nick, Nicholas, Nicky, who in every universe enters that child fight to make his dad proud. Who in every universe is willing to risk his own safety for the approval of his father. Nick who, together with the other kiddads, was kidnapped and left without food by his own grand father. Nick who, after being rescued by the dads, once again repressed his feelings, hiding behind a smile and a wall of jokes, terrified of letting people see how scared he actually was. Nick who had to testify at his own father's trial. Nick who can't even say that he's a happy kid. Nick who represses and jokes about his feelings rather than talking about them, yet another trait inherited from his dad. Nick who hides parts of himself to make it more convenient for others. Nick who didn't even get to say goodbye before he lost his dad. Who didn't even get to say goodbye before he became someone new. Nick, the only one of the kiddads who never got to return to earth. Nick who became Nicholas.
Nicholas who knows that no one around him actually likes him except for his dad. Nicholas who's had kids as well as adults look him straight in the eye and tell him that he sucks. Nicholas who sees his reality fall apart right in front of him from the moment Glenn gets out of prison. Nicholas who has to listen to a group of people tell him that his dad isn't his dad and that he isn't himself. Nicholas who desperately denies this only to find out that it's the truth. And the icing on top is when he finds out that he's a demon as well. Nicholas who when asked to swim to the shore and get to safety once again decides to actively go towards the danger in order to save his dad. Nicholas who is eaten by the aboleth and almost dies just to help his father. Nicholas who gets all the memories of Nick. Nicholas who becomes Nicky.
Nicky who is literally two people in one and who must suffer from constant identity crises. Nicky who is Nick. Nicky who is Nicholas. Nicky who is neither. Nicky who has memories of Morgan dying, memories of receiving the news of her passing, memories of grieving at her funeral, memories of putting flowers on her grave. But his mum is still alive. Nicky who has the memories and traumas from everything that he went through as Nick, yet at the same time he never went through it. Nicky who is Jodie's son, but also Glenn's. Nicky who so badly wanted to break the circle but then continued the generational absence. Nicky who reunited with his son and rebuilt his relationship with him, only to lose it once again. Because the moment Taylor remembered just how much Nicky's absence hurt he couldn't look at him in the same way anymore. Nicky who so desperately wanted to break the circle, but in the end it was his son who did and he can't even enjoy that victory because for that to happen his and Taylor's relationship was destroyed.
Nick, Nicholas, Nicky.
All the same person, and at the same time three completely different individuals.
