Cal “No Bones” Kestis:
Truly I am so tired of the Assassin's Creed fandom outside of Tumblr just being like. So deeply boring.
"I played every game in the franchise. Here's what I thought about all of them." Yeah you and every other person. I see this post on Reddit at least once a week. "Rogue makes no sense." I don't care, rub your two brain cells together and make it make sense. "Here's what I think the next historical setting should be." Shut upppppppp.
You know what I want to talk about? The bad cable management in Abstergo's server room. Who the hell is responsible. Also, why are their IT people seemingly being held prisoner in basement dungeons? I want to know. And why do Templar indoctrination rituals seem to center around forcing random people to do IT maintenance? Why am I being cult brainwashed via computer repair?
Every AC game is bad and nobody in the fandom actually likes them, yes yes yes yes, can we start making 4-hour lore detective videos about unimportant shit now? I'm starving.
" In the official Assassin's Creed lore, Shay Patrick Cormac and Connor Kenway never met face-to-face, despite operating in the same geographic region for a short period. It is theorized that they only most likely kept an eye on each other. "
Literally Shay and Connor:
Sadly, I like drawing Cal and Merrin way too much 😔 I’m sorry
@starsandstark Saw your comment so here’s a tutorial of how I did the glitch effect, tho this only works with procreate so not entirely sure it will be of much help if you’re using a different app 😅
THANK YOU SO MUCH 😭💖
omw to draw Clay again!
Happy (late) Birthday Desmond! I managed to pull this out last minute, enjoy!!
The steam library really is the gamers refrigerator. I keep checking to see if there's anything I want to play. I have games. I have plenty of games. There's nothing i want to play

THE PORTAL OPENS
13 years later we must all admit, nothing fucks as hard as the dragon age inquisition tarot cards
DAI having multiple tarot cards for each character and changing them as your relationships with them developed was, on the one hand, totally ornamental and absolutely wouldn't have been noticed if it hadn't been included in the game. However, including all that additional art was one of the many memorable frills that make the game stand out against other RPGs.
(The only thing I hate about them is that even the game only has low quality versions of them, and I refuse to believe that there aren't higher resolution versions of the DAI tarot cards in a vault somewhere in Edmonton.)
Can we finally retire this tired take that “Connor doesn’t have charisma”? He absolutely does. The problem is that audiences keep measuring him against a very narrow, Eurocentric idea of charisma: one that always defaults to cocky rogues, witty banter, and action hero-style suave.
And because Connor doesn’t perform charm in that way, people dismiss him as “bland.” But charisma isn’t just about being a smooth talker. Connor’s charisma is quieter, more grounded. When he speaks, people listen because he actually means it. His sincerity draws people in because he’s not putting on an act or trying to manipulate anyone. And the respect he commands doesn’t come from bravado -- it comes from the steadiness and conviction with which he carries himself.
That’s also charisma. Just not the kind most gamers have been trained to recognize. And honestly, the fact that so many write him off says less about Connor as a character and more about how narrow our collective lens for “charisma” has been.
Connor doesn’t lack charisma -- society just lacks the range to see it.
Dunk 💖
