While playing AC New Horizons, I was instantly inspired by Gigi when I first heard her theme song, K.K. Swing playing in her home. Very 1920s-30s type of vibe, whih all just makes sense to me.

Costume bought on Amazon. I only added the lily to the headband for added frog asthetic purposes.

Making the tail functional on Juri’s costume added a bit of uniqueness and complexity I like in all my cosplays.

I made this beachy/ocean-themed mini journal for @redheadmystic, and she loved it, yay! I grew up near the ocean, so using this theme made it extra fun. I worked on and off on this over a period of about three weeks, and got lost in the making of it. Sometimes I’d sit down at 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. and before I knew it, it would be 2:00 a.m.

I couldn’t resist using my favorite octopus stamp again. (Thank you @titancia for scanning and enlarging it for me!) It was a stroke of luck to find the sea-weedy yarn, something I’m especially enamored with. It looks kind of messy in photos but is so much better in person. And it’s kind of fun to run your fingers through it.

I have made several of these mini journals and learn something new every single time. As with my card making, I especially like making them when I have someone in mind. My choices of paper and other content are enhanced when I know where it’s going.

Hellooo, it’s been awhile but, I’m back and with a new cosplay. This time with BoTW Link in his Zora armor. This took awhile but I’m very happy to finally have completed this project. However, now that it’s over, I just honestly want to cosplay Link in more of his costumes. It never ends.
