The captain jumped when she saw the image on the screen. Humanoid, but very clearly cybernetic. The rest of those on the bridge had the same reaction. It wasn’t surprising, in truth, and it had kept them all alive as they navigated Borg space.
Something was different this time, though. Janeway swallowed her cry of ‘battle stations!’ as she paid more attention to the screen. There seemed to be nothing, aside from a slight physical resemblance, about the central core of Aperture Science that identified her as Borg.
"I’m not surprised." Said Janeway. She would keep herself alert, as always, but not act until she was sure of the stranger one way or the other. "We’re not from this part of the galaxy, and don’t usually stay in one place for very long. If we’ve tresspassed any borders of your space, I can assure you it was by accident, and we would be willing to change our course if nessicery."
“I don’t have much authority over anything outside of this facility. If you have trespassed on some sort of space boundaries, it really doesn’t concern me.”
Though she certainly wasn’t letting her guard down just yet, she didn’t quite hate Janeway yet either, which was always rare for GLaDOS. Though the captain was as suspicious as any other unknown human would’ve been, she wasn’t the sort of disrespectful idiot that GLaDOS was used to. For once, she was almost willing to be helpful.
But first she needed to determine where exactly to ship had come from, and if it was indeed from a seperate universe altogether. “I assume you’re having trouble getting back to where you came from?”
So the central core didn't have any care for their being in or near her space. Though the way she had taken it was so unfazed that Janeway didn't think the Prime Directive would be anything of an issue. The planet, after all, had the technology to both detect Voyager's presence and contact it with a sophisticated signal.
The captain got the feeling that she was being cautiously assessed in the exact same way as she was doing with the woman on the viewscreen. Honesty seemed the best policy.
"We are having difficulties with that, yes." Admitted Janeway. "Not to mention we've just hit some kind of wormhole, and lost our bearings again. Would it be a problem if we stayed a short while while we find out what happened and if it affected our ship in any way?"
"That's somewhat lethal looking for someone in the medical profession, isn't it? Although in comparison to your comrades I'd have to say it's not completely so..." ~The Doctor ((idk just sort of picked him cause medical and science stuff. If you want me to send anything as any of the others I can totally do that too :P ))
Medic spun around on his heels, one eyebrow slightly raised. There was a man standing before him, balding and in physical appearance seemed to be middle-aged or thereabout. And he most likely wasn’t a new recruit. He did not look at all hardened by battle or rough around the edges. He was also wearing some type of multi-colored… costume by the looks of it. Or maybe it was some new type of military uniform? It did have a uniform cut and a designation pin.
He spun the syringe gun’s barrel idly with his thumb. This guy didn’t seem like a TF Industries hire. Too clean-cut, and he clearly didn’t know what went on here seeing as how he’d made comments about his medical equipment.
"I presume you are referring to zhis syringe gun in mein hand. It can heal mein teammates from afar or slaughter zhe enemy depending on zhe magazine inserted into zhe barrel."
"Who exactly are you?" the German inquired still more or less giving the fellow a visual once-over assessment. "New recruit?"
"Oh. Well then. Not entirely as though designed by Klingons." Muttered the Doctor in his usual snarking tone. He glanced the other man over as well. He smelled in the metaphorical sense like a mercenary. Battleworn, but seemingly indifferent. Not to mention the unorthodox equipment... "I'm the Doctor." Answered the hologram. "And no, I'm afraid I am not a recruit. Not ah... Yet, anyway. I was seeing this place for myself before making any kind of serious decisions about it." He folded his arms, seeming curious, though skeptical, and a tiny bit corny. He was, in fact, acting. Voyager and it's crew had stumbled upon this place by accident, and found it to be too odd and interesting to pass up studying it. The Doctor's mission was simple enough, find out about what was going on from the inside, and also people seemed to 'die' and yet come right back again. The most difficult and dangerous part, however, was doing so without drawing undue attention to himself.
Well, I’ve now written responses to every single thing I have had in my drafts, and they’re ready to queue and I’m set to go off the radar tomorrow.

"Captain, incoming signal from the planet."
"Put it through, Mr. Kim." The Captain drummed her fingers on the arms of her command chair, watching the viewscreen switch from the starry black expanse to a visual of the one contacting them. "This is Captain Kathryn Janeway of the starship Voyager. We were looking for supplies, as me and my crew are a long way from home."
She wasn’t quite certain what was going on. She’d simply started picking up strange signals from the surface, apparently being given off by technology advanced enough to be equal to her own, and had promptly looked into it. Before she knew it, she found herself speaking to the captain.
Janeway’s greeting explained a lot, and lead to further confusion, at the same time. The technology she was detecting must have been a space ship, though it was certainly more advanced than anything that should’ve been able to exist.
It could’ve always been the multiverse again. She didn’t focus much of her research on space, but there could’ve plausibly been something out there that would have the same effect as a multiverse portal. This ship could’ve come from a different reality altogether.
Then again, it may not have. The possible explanations were practically endless.
She hesitated before returning the greeting. “This is the central core of the Aperture Science facility. I don’t believe I’ve heard of you or your ship before.”
The captain jumped when she saw the image on the screen. Humanoid, but very clearly cybernetic. The rest of those on the bridge had the same reaction. It wasn't surprising, in truth, and it had kept them all alive as they navigated Borg space.

If we've tresspassed any borders of your space, I can assure you it was by accident, and we would be willing to change our course if nessicery."
"I'm a physician, not a physicist! What am I supposed to do with a 'portal gun'?" Demanded the Doctor. ((If you would prefer Data that's cool too. I'm just curious about a hostile sass-off between VLaD and the Doctor.))
((it’s fine! Just… Please bear with me, I’ve only seen a couple episodes?))“Oh? You mean you went to medical school? Well, then you should be more than able to handle the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device. After all, the last subject I had suffered from serious brain damage. And he did well… Enough.”
"Programmed." Said the Doctor, turning the portal device over in his hands. "But I know far more than anyone who's ever come out of medical school." He allowed himself a small smirk. "Hold on, subject? What is it exactly that I'm supposed to be doing with this?"

The small shuttlecraft glided over the surface of the planet, looking for a place to set down. At last it found one, slowing to a hovering stop and touching down without much fuss. A hatch popped open, and an extremely pale man stepped out. His yellow eyes were almost the same shade as that on his uniform. His movements were extremely precise, though not what you would call jerking. Data unclipped a small grey instrument from his belt, and flicked it open. The tricorder wheezed and beeped as it scanned the surroundings. One of these readings caught the android's attention rather quickly. There was someone nearby.
Wrrrrrrrrrrrr It took only a few moments for the transporter cycle to complete, but they were a long few moments for the Vorta that was in the midst of it. Funny how it only took one transporter 'accident' to make one shy away from the things when they worked so smoothly all the rest of the time. Weyoun brushed himself off and recollected his air of calm. Lilac eyes calculating his surroundings. "Hello?" He called. "Is there anyone I may speak to?"
"Captain, incoming signal from the planet." "Put it through, Mr.
"Please state the nature of the medical emergency." Said the Doctor in his default tone as the hologram shimmered online. He started, snapping out of his mindless, pre-recorded state, looking around to get his bearings on where exactly he had come online.
"You've never met a rich man in your life."
"I have in fact met several. Though many people I know do not use currency at all."
"I'm fascinated. Robots and shit man, last year I didn't even believe in alchemy and now here I am watching /science/ tell me it has /feelings/. Amazing shit, right?"
"Yes, it is extraordinary. You do not, however, need to own it in order to appreciate it."
"/You/? Having a say in your masters' decisions? I can see why you want to stay. Tell you what, how about I just /rent/ you?"
"Respectfully, no. I am afraid that is not possible.
Why is it that you would wish to own me?"
"Nonsense, everyone's got a price. I'm buying you off of this ship whether it costs me my arm and leg or yours."
"I do not believe my commanding officers would allow that, for I do not wish to be bought. Whether for research or private collections, I have made myself quite clear on the matter."
"You, the machine. How much do you cost?"
Data did a double-take, gazing perplexedly at the young man. "I do not have any monetary value set on my person. Why do you wish to know?"
