I am both very grateful that I read the entire horrible histories boxset at 8 years old as well as kind of annoyed that various different weird gross shit (literally) that happened in history are now engrained in my long term memory.

We need to make listening to things on your phone on the bus without headphones on an offense punishable by life in prison with no chance of parol. They get put on death row and promptly executed if it was short form content (TikTok ,Yt short ,instagram reels etc).

These people are actually the definition of selfish and ANNOYING. Just buy €15 headphones and wear them ,it’s not that expensive to not be a nuisance. Or just don’t watch TikTok with the sound on in a bus???

Never understood how teens could buy €500 cameras.

Litteraly how? They don’t even like photography that much, it would be one thing if they did and their parents were encouraging their interests (which I think is very cool and I’m not talking about those people here)

And then taking the €500 camera into school???

I suspect I’m friends with more rich kids then I first thought.

The Darjeeling limited

2.5/10

I’m going to be honest I HATED this film. The only time I laughed was when the three brothers started sharing medicine and that was just a chuckle. I struggled to keep my eyes open during this. Sure it’s pretty at points (the shots are interesting, although I don’t think it’s great for Wes Anderson) but the characters are dull and confusing. I cannot remember a single line I liked from this film, I cannot remember a single characters name, I cannot remember ANYTHING even slightly interesting from the plot other than a child dying. It was so obviously trying to get you to feel …something? Probably grief? Maybe hopelessness? But whatever it is I did not feel it at all. The “emotional” side of this film was shallow. It also feels incredibly pretentious somehow?? I don’t throw that word around but while watching a feeling of patronization fell over me. Or maybe that was irritation from being SO BORED. I’m surprised I didn’t fall asleep watching this.

I’m not a doomer, I’m just being realistic. I do tend to blow things out of proportion and spiral ,I’m not this time.

Besides things could theoretically get better if we as humans change, which we won’t. We never really do ,even if not changing would kill billions of us.
