But in all honesty I started watching this show during the summer and while I know traditionally you should watch Yo Soy Betty La Fea I actually first watched Betty en NY and THEN I came across La Fea Mas Bella when scrolling through Instagram so I have yet to watch the original Columbian version of this show

I know it gets a lot of flack bc of how ridiculous the mexican version of this show can be at times but it came off as very charming to me and who doesnt love watching Jaime Camil and Angelica Vale bounce off each other when making comedy bits

I've done plenty of art for this show, but I mainly liked this one bc of how cute it ended up being

That and I finally wanted to share these art pieces from how little art I see of it in comparison to the beautiful pieces people make for the original show

I'm fascinated by how the animators for TADC handle Caine's impossible anatomy so well. There's so much to balance and they've somehow engineered a solution for his expressions to hold during speech.

I also traced Caine answering the phone from episode 4 to demonstrate his phonemes and mouth shapes.

A few people were asking so here's little tutorial thing on how I draw Caine!

As you can probably tell, I don't have a set style for how to draw him lol, he can be quite tricky to draw so just have fun and give it a go!

Another thing that I didn't put in the image is that I'd recommend not focusing too much on his teeth, which may sound a bit silly since he's mostly teeth, but personally I find that trying to focus too much on getting the individual teeth to look accurate tends to crowd the details together a lot and makes it difficult to get the expression I want

I wasn't exactly sure what people wanted to know about how I draw Caine, so I thought this was a good place to start, but it was pretty fun to make so if there are other things anyone would like me to make one of these for (or if this isn't clear enough, then feel free to let me know!

Caine has some sort of a top surgery scar. It looks like a glitch, but he made it up himself without telling anyone, not even Kinger. He made it because there was a deadname engraved on his chest, and it pissed him off, so he scrapped it and named himself C.A.I.N.E. afterwards.

What's the deadname was?

It's just a file name when C&A created him. But he wanted something special, something memorable, something more humanlike.

#been musing on the idea of caine being “bratty” and i think it's quite the opposite. he's actually hyper-responsible#canon!caine never had the luxury to be bratty. he was parentified from day one.#he was the one keeping everything functional. he took care of everyone (however terrible he was at it). he handled every crisis.#he may be a goof on the surface but he always took his responsibility seriously and was never just playing around.#...kinda makes caine a lot like ragatha huh.#fawning to survive. feeling responsible for everyone around them. not wanting to turn out like their creators/mother.#i swear i'm normal about them. yeah.
