acknowledging dia de muertos for latino david. i know that man’s ofrenda is beautiful and STOCKED. every year gabe, now reunited with david’s mom, visits david, finally getting to sit and eat together as a family again even though david can’t see them. it’s also how they got to know angel, who is beloved by both of them.

asher and tank both join david for this night and eventually it grows into the calmer pack get together in the aftermath of halloween that’s just more heartfelt and sweet and the ofrenda grows into a pack thing too. gabe enjoys getting to visit this family too.

also imagine all the ofrendas with people who lost loved ones during the inversion.

i’m on a journey to minimize, if not stop, my tendency of doomscrolling so like here’s a random ass list of things i’ve decided to do instead of filling up on short form content:

read two novels in one day

created diy christmas ornaments

actually made progress on my research paper

replayed left for dead

had a karaoke concert in my room

made bracelets with a bead set i found in my hoarding cabinet

learned the choreography to debut, touch, gnarly, gameboy, and the gap ad by katseye

reformat my laptop

attempt to learn spanish

recorded demos of the song i’m trying to write

learned the soprano part to four new satb choir pieces

actually get started on getting my drivers license

try a bunch of different makeup looks that i’ll probably never wear out

reorganize and declutter my closet

NAP, much napping was done

tried to make something good in ms paint

cleaned out my phone photo album

i need sam and darlin to STOP BEING SO ISOLATED because darlin needs more “part of the pack” moments (cause ik this is an old topic but why weren’t they included in the moments in the wedding vid???) and they both need to interact with vince & lovely (porter and treasure too please <3) more than just in passing or when there’s something big happening in the plot
