I know there’s a lot of discourse around this but I thought I’d give me two cents: as someone who has dealt with comphet before, Vanya’s whole situation just screams comphet to me. Like, she spent a majority of her life on her own and then someone finally shows interest in her, so of course she’s going to latch onto them. She was just glad that someone finally wanted to talk to her and she got confused about how she really felt. And then when they all went into a different timeline and she lost her memory, that kinda gave her a clean slate. No comphet, no possible internalized homophobia. I don’t know if her sexuality has been confirmed, if it is please let me know, but if not this is just how I personally perceive the whole situation.

Some of the Klaus stans in the TUA fandom annoy me lmao. I’m sorry but I had to say it. I think some of y’all forget that the show doesn’t revolve around Klaus. Yes he’s a fantastic character, and I get that he’s a fan favorite, but there are technically seven main characters. It would be ridiculous for all of them to have really thought out plot lines and character arcs because it would either take up way too much time or be way too rushed. I’m definitely not saying I don’t like Klaus, I’m saying that some of the Klaus stans act like the show is only about him and not six other people as well. Like I’ve seen some people get genuinely angry and say stuff like “Klaus didn’t get the perfectly set up character arc that is way too specific that I wanted 😡. The show creators must hate Klaus 🙄” and I’m like- okay first of all, as said before, THERE ARE SIX OTHER MAIN CHARACTERS, second, this show is only on its second season. If I remember correctly they’re planning on making seven seasons. Be patient lmao. I’m not saying that Klaus doesn’t deserve some sort of character arc. I would actually really enjoy to see one for him. But the entire show isn’t about him and I wish people would stop hating on the show creators for not making everything about his character. Okay rant over lmao.

Edit: I think I confused the 7 season plan with another show, but my point still stands. TUA will most likely have more seasons after a third season, I just don’t know if it’ll be 7. Sorry if I confused you, lmao

I’m honestly so confused by the she-ra stuff that’s going on right now. Like on one hand it just seems like the joke was taken out of context (you can find the video on YouTube and it’s probably on twitter somewhere), but on the other hand I mean, I’m white. So who am I to say that it wasn’t intentional. I mean you have to know what the implications behind saying that are. Especially when you’re a grown ass adult. I just don’t know. I think it definitely has to do with the lack of racial diversity behind the show. Not to mention that people really need to stop putting show creators on high pedestals. I mean look at what happened to the dragon prince. People praised Aaron to no end only to find out he was a terrible person.
