episode 9

everyone keeps saying that they want to be an episode nine truther, but that they don’t want to get their hopes up, but here’s the thing-

even if there is no episode nine? we’ve cracked a code here. even if there is no follow up, we’ve found the solution for ourselves. all of the signs- johan’s survival of drowning, the “LIVING” writing spelt out by the boots in ep 8, pam & carolyn floating on the water, carolyn being in debt to villanelle for saving her life, the dare, the rebirth symbolism, eve’s “reuniting” speech. it all makes sense. so no matter what happens on sunday, we have created our own ending here, and what’s more, it’s entirely logical- it’s tangible and believable.

regardless of whether JC (jesus christ/jodie comer, interchangeable) is resurrected on sunday, we know in our canon that villanelle faked her own death as her last dare for carolyn. her and eve will reunite, and they’ll live in alaska together as happy gays for the rest of their days. THE END.
