I know I havenât been very active on here in awhile, but with everything going on in the world, why not try keeping up with this blog more?
Iâm in desperate need of some âfeel goodâ books. Iâm not a huge fan of contemporary romance, but I will try just about anything at this point. Anyone have any recommendations?Â
I know itâs after Halloween, but Iâm still in the spooky mood. What is everyoneâs favorite horror novel?
Mine is probably Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant. Itâs one of the few that have genuinely scared me, and not just because the monsters are nasty.
Iâm reading that now! Iâm only about 25% through and Iâm really enjoying it.

I have been so sick this past week that I have not been able to read. My brain just cannot concentrate on anything lately.
do you ever think about the fact that âno mourners, no funeralsâ is a way of saying nobody is going to die tonight, but itâs also a reminder that nobody is going to grieve you if something does happen to you, and feel like youâve just been punched in the gut by leigh bardugo herself
Me looking at the cast announcement:
My copy of Darkdawn finally came and now my collection is complete. Can't wait to continue with the series.
10, 18, and 22 please?
Thank you for the ask! Sorry it took so long to answer, things have been crazy the last few days.
10. Favorite nonfiction book? I donât read a lot of non-fiction. The last one I read was really good though! Robin by Dave Itzkoff. Robin Williams was one of my favorite actors as a kid, so his death hit me harder than a lot of celebrity deaths, and this was a great look into his early life and his final days.Â
18. Favorite and least favorite books read for high school classes? Favorite would probably be The Things They Carried by Tim OâBrien, even though I can barely remember any of it. Least favorite, I really donât know about high school, but I did have to read Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad in college and wanted to die the entire time.Â
22. Any book(s) you were surprised to end up liking? Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills. A lot of people I trust really enjoyed it, but I typically cannot stand contemporary books especially if they involve a romance. It was so cute and I absolutely loved it.Â
âWhy did you recommend that book?! Now Iâm obsessed!â
