Caught an acoustic Dandy Warhols set yesterday at local record shop Sonic Boom, in advance of their show later that evening in Toronto. Ended up being mostly Courtney playing solo aside from the first 2 tunes when Brent joined and then left a little randomly which seemed to surprise Courtney. Without Brent, the set seemed to become a little loose and more of a best of, including Get Off, Bohemian, Godless, Country Leaver, We used to be friends.

The decision to convert, instead of demolish this church in Maastricht, originally built in 1294 is a gorgeous example on why the protection of heritage buildings is so important.

Good way to increase store traffic I would think.

Was actually going to post an old Kilian Martin skate vid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mgFdn4lfrE) which most have probably seen, but wanted to highlight as it's worth another look. The artistry is absolutely beautiful. Anyways ended up stumbing on this new one from Kilian Martin. Skate videos have come long way since I remember watching.

The new single from The Vaccines upcoming album The Vaccines come of age was premiered on Radio 1 last night. First album was great, and now have the chance to see the band open up for the Roses on June 29th, where we will hopefully get a few more new ones.
