the fact that we’re apes is SO funny… i can calculate how many parsecs away a nebula is based upon its apparent magnitude for a fun little brain exercise. i also feel depression and existential ennui if my curtains are shut for too long because my brain has a 45000 year old creature in it who feels that darkness holds too many unknown threats

People not liking Biden as the presidential candidate

People not liking Kamala Harris as the Vice President candidate

People wishing there were better candidates running

Things I’m not okay:

People claiming that a candidate they don’t like is as bad as a racist, sexist, classist, self obsessed, facist sex offender with ties to fucking Nazis, who has engaged in blatant nepotism, who has sent armed forces to put down peaceful protests, and who has spread misinformation during a fucking worldwide pandemic

Look. I get it. You don’t have to like Biden and Harris. They’re both flawed individuals. But the choice between Biden and Trump isn’t a matter of just politics anymore. It’s a matter of taking our country back from the hyper-conservative sociopaths that currently have a death grip on our nation. Trump and his entire administration have spent 4 years lying to and manipulating the citizens they were charged with defending and leading. Because all Trump has and will ever care about is himself and his wealth.

Don’t let that orange bastard win. Vote Biden this November

Please let harm reduction be your goal this year. A lot of people will not survive a second trump term. Biden and Harris are not perfect candidates. Even if I was an American they wouldnt be my first choice.

But if the choice is between two evils, choose the lesser of the two.
