I was so happy to receive this in the mail today, in its full 12” glory! Initially I’d designed this as a CD release in 2005, but Ron Haviv’s amazing photograph looks even more iconic at this size, and is a testament to ADF’s music within. One week ago today, as Jim Lee @jimlee mentioned in his post here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CY5XPfUrCQ2/ “Legendary artist George Pérez and equally legendary writer Marv Wolfman @marvwolfman came to visit us. It was a day of honoring George and giving him the proverbial keys to the DC offices here in Burbank—a home that he and Marv helped co-create and build”. I was pleased to be asked to document their visit, and photograph Jim, Marv and George with our rather massive DC Logo. This was followed by an editorial meeting outside with Marie Javins and her team, who took the opportunity to get their favorite books signed. During a 5 second mask removal, I was able to get a recognizable group photo by standing on the table. That same evening, George got his own personal VIP tour of the Warner Bros. Lot and @wbtourhollywood where I was able to photograph him with Cyborg, Wonder Woman, and a few of the amazing exhibits.
