the MOON ‼️ had a blast cosplaying sailor moonknight at nycc, even ran into some laylas and got my comic signed by the cover artist for the moonknight: city of the dead issue that introduces her!! 10/10 time
my favorite part of derry girls was just how accurately it portrayed being a normal person in a time of crisis. obviously the events in derry are very much real and ireland has experienced decades of political conflict, and this DOES impact the main characters in a lot of ways, but they still also…. go to school. worry about their friends and birthday parties and being together. because they’re just teenage girls (+ james) and that resonated with me a lot, especially now
I made this. It's cute.

*spelling words out so my knight doesn’t get too excited* I’ve been thinking of sending him on a Q-U-E-S-T to save a M-A-I-D-E-N from a D-R-A-G-O-N. He’s been a very good boy lately.
I'm so convinced that John Walker is supposed to show the way modern men are indoctrinated into violence by the military, awarded, exploited, shamed, and abandoned, left behind as veterans with no access to the tools and programs they were promised, living with ptsd and anger and grief and depression they can't explain or comprehend. And that we are supposed to see his journey and want better for him and get angry at the way he is left to pick up the pieces. And understand that he is not a perfect man because he was a perfect soldier. So it makes me inconceivably frustrated when people just say he's a bad person and murderer without understanding the context of where he was and who he is now
“i asked chatgpt” “i asked grok” okay well i asked the giant bird skeleton that follows me around

parents will make u feel guilty about absurd shit like breathing too much air or smth. and it will work too like you'll be laying on the ground years later paralyzed by the guilt that you're breathing too much until someone grabs u by the shoulders and tells u that is fucking stupid. and then you'll need to remind yourself of that every day for the rest of your life to function
“my teenage child is so selfish” is an interesting thing I only see online moms say about their daughters. I’ve never seen one say it about their son. I think it’s because daughters enter the teenage years and begin developing critical thinking skills and independence and it enrages these parents who were using their kids as their own little therapists and unpaid domestic laborers.
