Introduction
Hello,
In this blog I want to showcase arcade sticks that were made for home use dating back to the NES and up to the current generation of consoles.
I hope you enjoy.
I’m not 100% sure of what options MAS had for sale on their site back in the day that weren’t custom printed. These two are the ones I remember seeing all the time.
Nuby Soul Calibur II - Worked with Xbox, Playstation, and Gamecube
Pelican Real Arcade Universal - Xbox, Gamecube, and PS2 compatible. This stick is special to me. My parents bought me this thing when I was 11. I learned how to play CVS2, 3s, and Guilty Gear on this thing. I later upgraded to the Sammy SVC Chaos stick, which will be posted later in this blog. But, man this stick served me very well.
This thing is very ugly. Act Laboratory LTD Psychopad K.O. - works with the PS1, Saturn, and SNES.
MadCatz Dual Arcade Joystick for the N64
Arcade Shark for the N64 - I own one of these. The stick are removable, the left side acts as the d-pad and the middle is the thumbstick. Honestly the worst stick I’ve ever used. The N64 does have some dope fighters, though.
Sony Hitbit JS-70 - MSX
Micomsoft XE-1 Pro and XE-1ST - MSX
ASCII Stick II Turbo and ASCII Stick X Turbo - MSX
ASCII Stick for the MSX
Trailblazer Slick Sticks
Nintendo Super Advantage - Nintendo’s other first party peripheral
Nintendo Score Master - one of Nintendo’s first party peripherals
Quick Shot Conqueror 2
Quick Shot Maverick 2B
QJ Top Fighter
