I was bored and ranting to my friends so here's a short analysis of how I view floorphone:

So basically MePhone is infamous for pushing everyone away, but Floory, Floory is stubborn. She refuses to leave. First just the island but then MePhone's side. And because of this, MePhone begins to open up, Floory bringing out the best of him. On the flip side, Floory is well intentioned but often scares people/it comes off wrong. But MePhone understands it. He understands what it's like for emotions to not come out the way they're intended to. And because of this, Floory becomes more confident

Maybe I'm just cornplating but that's what it looks like to me... they both bring out the best of each other, and even though they both struggle with social interaction and emphasizing with others, they have each other to help pull through.

ALSO they both feel emotions very strongly and now they finally have someone able to match that. MePhone is very sarcastic and cynical to the point where most others don't bother with him but Floory is so friendly and patient that it works out. Both get attached to things easily, MePhone with people who don't even like him and Floory with the island. They both need to learn to adjust to not always having everything they need or want and they're both there to help each other through it

Additionally, while Floory and MePhone are similar in a lot of ways, there are a few key differences. Floory is far too overly trusting, while MePhone thinks he can't trust anyone at all. Floory is friendly though a bit overbearing while MePhone is closed off. They can learn from each other and find the middle ground that benefits them both in the long run.
