tbh i am not a gwaynston shooter but gwayne starting as a cocky, pretentious highborn lord, looking down on criston and disrespecting him and then slowly falling in love while also becoming disillusioned with war itself is peak actually. After months on the road where he lost his men and saw what war did to thousands of people, and after seeing the effect of war on criston and his suicidal speeches he can no longer entertain ormund's delusions. Because unlike ormund, he was not bathing every morning, deciding who lives and dies from a safe house away from violence. Even without any romantic aspect criston changed him deeply.
āCriston Coleās death is anticlimacticā THATS THE FUCKING POINT! He thinks that he is this great warrior who is going to die heroically in battle after taking down tons of other soldiers but instead he is killed by a woman and the rest of his men get slaughtered. His misogyny against Rhaenyra is what lead him to the greenās side of the war. For a woman to take him out like itās nothing is a fitting end. It also shows how pointless this war has become. No one is really fighting for green or black, itās just fighting to fight and in the end death is meaningless. Media comprehension is in the toilet in this fandom.

For all that I've heard it say that Katie was bullying Jamie, if I've got my facts straight...
It sounds a lot like she was a very smart girl who had clocked that something was very wrong with Jamie and that he was behaving towards her in a predatory way.
In Jamie's own words, he asked her out because he thought she would be "weak" after her pictures were leaked, so he believed he had a shot. Which is still one of the most disturbing things I've ever heard come out of a kid's mouth.
This young woman sounds like she was informed enough about what red flags to look out for, and about the manosphere to protect herself by exposing his creepy problematic behaviour.
Were her online comments online cruel and did they lead to a bullying campaign, yes? But something that I haven't really seen discussed much is that it wasn't a teenage girl lashing out for no reason. It was a teenage girl who had already experienced first hand how violently men, even young men, can treat women, and had been a victim of misogynistic bullying. She was tragically correct in calling him an incel.
Notably, the kid who gives his dad a definition of what an incel is, doesn't give a correct one. It's not equivalent to calling a boy an eternal virgin. Incels are men who develop a hatred of women, a misogynistic behaviour and discourse because they are convinced that they will never be successful with women.
Now, is it possible that other kids at school weren't aware of that and thought it meant calling someone a pathetic virgin? Yes, absolutely.
But I'm inclined to believe that Katie knew precisely what it meant, that she had clocked predatory behaviour, and was exposing it.
I saw these posts on Reddit and honestly, this is how I interpreted the scene too. I am going with this one over whatever Ryan Condal & co are trying to push. The fact that Din Djarin, hardened Mandalorian warrior and bounty hunter, in the middle of a fight to the death against a gigantic venomous water snake that wanted nothing more than to eat him... Took one look at his son holding a grenade and that's what made Din react with "... Dank ferrick..."
