Info
Name: Circe āCiciā Mullins
Age: 17
Faceclaim: unnamed, from pintrest (below cut)
Background: Circe grew up in New York, in a neighborhood that definitely wasnāt upstate but wasnāt exactly the city. She was⦠mostly normal. Sure, she was prone to zoning out until she found something she would randomly laser focus on, and she could never keep still, but she was otherwise normal. Around the age of 8, her mother put her in martial arts classes in an attempt to burn off all that extra energy, and Circe finally found something that quieted her constantly busy mind. She threw herself into it, joining her martial arts schoolās competition team. Her mother was on the sidelines at every tournament, cheering like a madwoman.
Her mother passed when she was twelve, leaving Circe with just her dad. It wasnāt a bad relationship, per se, just⦠distant. He worked a lot, and they had little in common. He didnāt have a problem with her continuing martial arts, but he would just drop her at class or tournaments and leave for his next meeting.
A few years later, Circeās team-that she was now very freshly named captain of, after years of dedication-was set to compete in a championship held in the Hudson Valley, and to save everyone the gas and toll prices, her Sensei opted to have them stay at a recently opened bnb in the area- the Woodstone. Even better, Circe was sharing a room with her crush, and the girl she narrowly beat out for captain, Marie.
Circe had found a nice little clearing in the woods on the property while exploring earlier in the day. It was picturesque, and peaceful. So, the evening before the championship, in an effort to burn off some anxious energy and get some last minute practice in, she grabbed her headphones, phone, and water bottle, and headed for that clearing to run some simple drills and do a few forms to tire herself out. It wasnāt going to be too long, so she didnāt bother dressing in her actual gear- a pair of loose cargo pants and a My Chemical Romance Tee she chopped into a tank top would do for what she wanted.
The next thing she remembers is waking up with a killer migraine, and going to sit up- only to leave her body on the ground. She seemed to have collapsed and tragically ended up with her head smashed against a rock she didnāt remember being there.
