genuinely i have never seen a space where those so vehemently opposed to the community actively force themselves inside of it to make snide comments and spread misinformation

As the person who got their R keyboard broken and the world mocked me for being forced to use the uwu language as replacement
My condolences

If youāre reading this. Youāre definitely queer.
Probably trans.
remember those who could not make it to today. honor their memory. live for them.
this year, more than ever. remember those who have perished. live for them. live for yourself. existence is resistance
We just realized that we know someone with a name on EVERY SINGLE ROW OF THIS LIST.
That... um.
Aha. Hah. Hahh. Hahhhhhh .
The mind numbing anger of chronic fatigue is getting irritable because you're so fucking tired but you really feel like you SHOULDNT BE.
You SHOULD be able to sit at a desk and do work. You SHOULD be able to just watch a freaking YouTube video. You SHOULD be able to just eat fucking lunch.
But you can't. Because your eyes are closing and it's like temporary death is taking you.
Every day my joints are shocked and disgusted that I would use them for their intended purpose.
Just one day out sends me to bed for three days of recovery.
Sometimes being disabled feels like youāre surrounded by people with superpowers, and youāre the only regular human.
Because I donāt really feel like I can do lessāI feel normal. Iām so in tune with my own body, my own abilities, my own experience. Iāve lived this way for so long.
But then I look at other people, and see how much more they can do, their stamina, their resiliency, and Iāmā¦baffled. Befuddled. Astonished. They seem downright superhuman compared to me. They seem like goddamn superheroes.
it would be so cool if able bodied people could get it through their heads that i dont just get a little tired or hurt a little bit when i do things.
āwe need to start doing xyz āā i cant ābut it needs to get doneā i still cant ābut āā cant :)
The holy grail of searching through academic literature is coming across a string of publications that are like:
Hereās An Idea. Smith et al. 2016
Terrible Idea; a comment on Smith et al. 2016. Johnson 2016.
Youāre Wrong Too; a response to Johnson 2016. Nelson 2016.
Guys Just Stop Fighting, None Of Us Know Whatās Going On; a Review of the Current Literature. McBrien 2017.
Not even an exaggeration.

do trans women need to unlearn patriarchal structures and moral values in order to be good feminists? yessir 100%
but donāt do cis women as well?
youāre not automatically a good feminist because you were born with ovaries, and your opinions are not automatically right and worth listening to because of your cishood.
we are all learning, and being a biological femaleā¢ļø does not make you exempt of having to learn as well.
we all need to collectively do better!
