The thing about Leo's Urn (which is kept in Dr Birch's home dimension of Dr Birch, K-55-65-65-85-56, under their mother Caryn's watchful eye and on her mantle) is that it's not just LEO'S Urn.
Birch entered the multiverse immediately after Leo's death. There was no time, no stalling. He didn't call his Ma first, he didn't write a note. He killed Leo, and immediately that entire dimension, like his twin, was dead to him.
As far as anyone knows, Murray died with Leo. As far as anyone in that dimension knows, there was a horrible accident in Leo's lab, and both brothers were killed.
On their Ma's mantle is a single urn, metal and decorated with birch catkins, perpetually dusted off and sometimes, when Caryn feels particularly sentimental, when she misses her boys, she lays a hand on the cold side of it in grief.
The second thing is that puppets don't normally. Uh. Leave bodies? Leo was turned to ash because he was burned, and Murray's still using his. What's in the urn is, essentially, a general approximation of Leo's remains and also part of his desk chair that was also turned to ash when the portal exploded (look Murray was skinny he wouldn't leave a lot of ash)
So Leo's Urn is just burnished metal with soft engravings of birch catkins on the sides. A testament to Caryn's boys, together in life and together in death (except not really)
