We’re used to the passive voice with articles about Palestine (insert “blast kills number of people” or “bullet found it’s way into van that ended a 4 year old young lady”) that whenever articles actually do say “Israel soldier kills Palestinian teenager and repeatedly drives over a Palestinians body” we’re all genuinely surprised.

This is horrific, all the news and videos from kamal adawan hospital are making me physically ill to the point that every time i hear/watch something i only pray that it turns out to not have happened to as many people as it appears or for them to not have suffered much. i dont know who needs to hear this but you do not need to go on a diet. you do not need to lose weight as a new year revolution. you do not need to feel shame for gaining any weight over the holidays and for enjoying yourself and the food. you do not need to tolerate diet talk after setting a boundary and if someone cant respect that then theyre being the asshole. you already have a summer body. you already are hot. theres no moral failure or shame in being fat
