Once upon a time, there lived a man named Tom,
A clean freak, his home was always calm.
One day he spotted a big black mold,
Growing on his pillow, it was quite bold.
He called a professional cleaning crew,
To rid the mold and make it like new,
As they approached the pillow with their spray,
The mold suddenly moved, much to Tom's dismay.
Out popped a fluffy black cat, oh so cute,
Tom was surprised, he couldn't refute,
His cleaning habits had led him astray,
Mistaking the cat for mold, what a display!
Tom apologized to the cat with a can of tuna,
The cat purred contentedly, like a happy Luna,
From that day on, the cat became a fixture,
In Tom's home, a new playful picture.
The moral of this story is plain to see,
Don't be too quick to judge what you perceive,
A mold can be a cat in disguise,
So take a closer look to avoid any surprise.

Nuzzling and licking, they showed their affection,
A public display that grabbed attention.
But suddenly, a pigeon flew down,
Landing in the midst of the cats' crown.

Stood up tall on her hind legs,
Swatting the bird with her paws, no begs.
Jasper joined in, his tail in the air,
Batting the pigeon with a playful flair.
The other cats cheered them on,
As the chase went on and on.
Finally, the pigeon flew away,
And Luna and Jasper resumed their play.
From that day on, they were known,
As protectors, their love shown.
Now when they show affection,
The cats gather with anticipation.
For Luna and Jasper, the fearless pair,
Their love and bravery, beyond compare.
Once upon a time, two kittens played
In a cozy home where they both stayed
One had a face so innocent and pure
The other looked jealous, with a permanent scowl
Their owner brought home a toy one day
A plush mouse for them to bat and play
The innocent kitten, with big round eyes
Was smitten with the toy, to her surprise
The jealous one looked on with envy
Plotting how he could steal it, oh so shrewdly
He tried to distract her by pushing down a vase
But the innocent kitten was lost in her own blissful haze
Next, he tried to sneak up and grab the toy
But the innocent kitten was too quick, oh boy!
Finally, he donned a disguise so silly
But the innocent kitten recognized him, oh willy-nilly!
Both kitties laughed and rolled on the floor
Realizing that fighting was such a bore
They shared the toy and never fought again
Becoming the best of friends, until the very end
Once there was a cat named Cringy,
Who loved to do things in different ways,
And when it came to sleeping,
He had something new to display.
One day, Cringy felt adventurous,
And tried a new sleeping pose,
Instead of curling up like usual,
He lay on his back, with his paws exposed.
At first, it felt a little silly,
But then he found it quite comfy,
He could stretch out his legs,
And felt the breeze on his tummy.
As he started to drift off to sleep,
Something strange began to occur,
He lost his balance and started rolling,
Like a rolling pin, he was a blur.
He tried to grab onto something,
But his paws were stuck behind him,
Before he knew it, he had completed,
A full backflip, and was wide-eyed and grim.
Feeling a little embarrassed,
Cringy went back to his usual way,
But he still tried the backflip pose,
Just for fun, every now and then, every day.
The other cats in the neighborhood,
Would gather around to watch him play,
They were impressed by his acrobatic skills,
But thought he was a little bit crazy.
Then one day, Cringy fell asleep,
In that strange position once again!
The other cats couldn't believe it,
It was quite a sight for their eyes.
They gathered around, amazed,
Trying to figure out his secret trick,
But Cringy was sound asleep,
Still lying on his back, paws stretched out straight.
The other cats finally gave up,
Realizing they would never understand,
Cringy was a unique cat,
And they appreciated him for his brand.
From that day on, Cringy was known,
As the cat who could sleep in any position,
Although he never fell asleep mid-backflip again,
His friends enjoyed his fun ambition.
And so, Cringy continued to try,
Different sleeping positions for all to see,
But always remembered his backflip tumble,
A funny story as their inside circle humor.
Once there lived a fat cat named Barfield,
With a strange fascination that never did yield,
For he loved to watch the fish swim in the bowl,
And stare at them for hours, his eyes like a mole.
One day, Barfield had an idea so grand,
To become a fish and swim in the land,
To the pet store he went, and bought a fish suit,
A perfect fit it was, his joy absolute.
Barfield swam around imitating their style,
Trying to catch his tail, with a fishy smile,
He spent his days swimming all around,
In his little fish suit, never to be found.
One day, his owner found him asleep,
Laying In a cardboard box so deep,
Sticking out like a fish, straight as a rod,
His owner laughed, for it was quite odd.
Barfield had become a fish-cat, you see,
A delusional creature, happy as could be,
Swimming and dreaming of a life under the sea,
His owner called him "Barfield the Fishy".
Thus, Barfield lived out the rest of his days,
As a happy fish-cat, in his own little ways,
Pretending to be a fish, oh so grand,
And who knows, maybe one day he'll really become one such brand.
Once upon a sunny day,
A cat named Whiskers came to lay
On a cozy mat by the window wide,
The perfect spot for a feline to reside.
But soon a fly began to buzz,
Around her head, causing a fuss.
Whiskers swatted with all her might,
But the fly was quick, and out of sight.
Her paw missed, and she hit her face,
A silly sight in this peaceful place.
She tried again, but the fly did dodge,
And off the mat, she fell with a lodge.
Whiskers felt embarrassed and shy,
She knew it wasn't worth the try.
So back to relaxation, she went,
To soak up the sun and be content.

Aw, he is talking to the wall cat!
Whiskers the cat was quite a sight,
With fur as brilliant as cheetah in prime.
He'd sit and stare at his reflection,
Thinking he was the cat's meow, with no objection.
One day, he saw another cat,
Staring back at him, tit for tat.
He pawed the glass, but to his surprise,
His reflection was the only prize.
Whiskers became obsessed with the other feline,
Spending hours at the mirror, with no incline,
To do anything else, but stare and play,
With his reflection, day by day.
But then, one day Mary had a plan,
To play a prank on her furry little man.
She snuck up behind him and let out a meow,
Whiskers jumped back, the mirror shattered, oh wow!
At first, Whiskers was confused and lost,
But soon he realized what it had cost.
His obsession with the other cat in the glass,
Was just a game of his own making, alas!
Whiskers learned to laugh at himself,
And Mary learned to have fun, no wealth,
Could bring the joy they shared that day,
As they bonded in a special way.
Now Whiskers still admires his reflection,
But he no longer has an obsession,
With the other cat that wasn't there,
He's content with himself, and that's quite rare!

And the big cats were amazed, their laughter did pierce.
Mittens roared with all her might,
Flexing her muscles, an incredible sight,
The big cats knew they had been bested,
And Mittens was hailed as the most flexible, tested.
From that day on, she continued to grow,
And stretch with power, putting on a show.
So never underestimate the house cat named Mittens,
For she can stretch with power, and her strength never lessens.

There lived a black cat, with a coat so fine and round.
But alas! One day, the cat was caught in a trap,
And taken far away, to a place where it couldn't nap.
The cat was sad and scared, and missed its home so much,
It longed to be free, to feel the grass and such.
But the trap was too strong, and the cat couldn't break free,
It meowed and cried, but no one could hear its plea.
But then one day, a girl with a kind heart,
Came walking by, and saw the cat's plight from the start.
She knew she had to help, and so she set to work,
To free the cat from the trap, and give it a second perk.
With steady hands and a gentle touch,
She worked to release the cat, without hurting it too much.
And finally, the moment came, when the cat was free,
It looked up at the girl, and purred with such glee.
The girl smiled, and petted the cat,
And watched it run off, just like that.
And from that day on, the black cat roamed free,
Living its life, in the way it was meant to be.
Water biscuits
Purr, purr, soft and sweet,
A little kitty with paws so neat,
In a tub of water, she dips her feet,
And starts to make some biscuits, oh so neat!
Kneading, kneading, up and down,
Her little paws don't make a sound,
But the bubbles in the water, they abound,
As she makes her biscuits round and round.
Meow, meow, she takes a break,
Licks her paws, for goodness sake,
Then back to kneading, for goodness sake,
Making biscuits in the water, what a cake!
