I am sorry for being away but it will be continuing. My grandmother is in the hospital, she has lung disease and we don't know if she will make it or not. We're trying to arrange to get down to Lubbock, a six hour drive. So for now, all my accounts are on HIATUS and I don't know when I will be coming back. I miss you guys.

He snapped out of the plans he’d been making, cued from her mention of a teleportation device. It was true that some of the primitive parts they’d gathered could be made to function as short range - but he was ticking off the inventory of what they’d need to gather to finish them up. Perhaps…

"Oh! Right, washing up." He pushed back from the table, gathering the last few bits from their meal and joining her at the counter to help in washing dishes. He scrubbed with the same distracted look on his face, thoughts still heavily on their mission, now that they had one, such that he was surprised when there was not another pan to grab once he’d washed the last one.

Wiping his hands dry on a towel he tossed behind him, he went straight for the box of things he’d found that day. “Aha! I knew I had one,” he walked to her proudly toting the telephone he’d managed to scavenge. “Dialer ought to work, don’t you think? Few transistors an’ some copper wire and we might be in business!”

After the meal had been eaten she smiled at his reactions. They had a lot of work ahead of them and that included going to possibly hitch a ride in order to possibly another place entirely. They needed a few things in order to get home and that was the brunette's focus. After they washed, rinsed, and dried the dishes, she knew for certain they were going to need to arrange for a road trip soon. How else were they going to get there.

"Do we have enough supplies Doctor, to make it to that town?" She was glad she had a sonic, it would make things easier. At least they could look after one another this way. She smiled and nodded at the dialer. "That will most definitely help." They had a lot of items that they would need in the long run and she was proud that he was always preparing for any and all situations.

"So what is the plan. Besides what projects we've been working on. What do we do if the visitors aren't going to be very helpful?"
