for some reason people never like my vintage story root cellar system which i affectionately call "grain hell" because they enter grain hell and can never find their way back out from the cubic maze of identical interconnecting rooms

the trick is you put all the doors so they open towards deeper, so it's really easy to just reverse your steps out once you know that trick

with grain hell you minimize the footprint of each room but allow for infinite tessellation a perfect infinity of food storage

my cob house in vintage story, i based it off of real life cob houses! i wanted to fuck around with the weird organic shapes they commonly have and i had a lot of fun. you will not be seeing the back of the building :]

in my opinion, everyone should have a go at building a cob house in vintage story, it feels like such an appropriate medium and building style for it.
