I’ve had my Spotify playlist on shuffle the whole day and when „Two“ by Sleeping At Last came on, I immediately thought of your „Take my heart clean apart“.

That fic seriously took up residency in my brain three years ago and I still think about It often. It’s such a raw, perfect portrayal of true love and vulnerability and communication. I always ache when reading it, in the best way.

I’ve had a really melancholic, slow kind of day today and listening to that song and rereading that fic gave me such a feeling of nostalgia and warmth and I wish I could tell you how much I actually, really appreciate you having put your works out there - they’re all such treasures.

I hope you’re doing okay and that life has been treating you well lately. I think a lot of people miss you and your fics (me included obviously). Thank you for the ones that exist already though ❤️

It would be fucking stupid to try and pinpoint the best fic I’ve ever read because there’s so many. But I will say this. Every time I’m writing a scene where Steve and Tony are kissing I think about that unbelievable fic by mistymountainking where Tony comes back from an Event and Steve is waiting up for him and they have their first kiss in the kitchen at like 2am. And then I go a little bit insane and decide it’s absolutely essential I reread it. Then I reread it. Then I start chewing on the walls. So idk I’m not picking favourites but I do lowkey think it may be that one.
