Howdy, so I've decided I don't see much sense in using a third party to host my commissions on. So, I added a page on my own website to host my info at ✨️

I'm open to any proposals, including commercial work and work in other mediums but we will have to discuss price as it will depend on the surface and dimensions of the piece and the price then to mail it.

I have pretty much completely stopped doing digital art at this point and I think it's been very healing. When you are at constant threat of having your art being stolen, whether it's someone claiming your work as theirs, for training LLMs or people uploading it to sites like redbubble, it feels nice to know that is just an image of your work and not your "actual" work.

Then there's also the fact that at least for now humans (and maybe elephants?) are unique in that ability, to use pigments and brushes in a myriad of ways to create unique artworks.

Maybe a piping hot take but I do think we shot ourselves in the foot with digital art. I know, I know, I have thought exactly what you are thinking now, at the elitist artists of the 2000s and 2010s who looked down on us and our Wacoms, how dare they! I'm not being facetious, I swear. I think digital art has allowed for so many of us to experiment with art in ways that would take so much more time with ink and pigment.

But! By abandoning the old ways, which took more time and materials we made it all the more easy for companies frothing at the mouth for more ways to exploit us to do exactly that. It got harder and harder for young artists to work fast and efficiently enough to break into the industry until we got to this point where they decided it would be easier to replace us completely with computers.

I know how hard it is to pick up pencils again, let alone acrylics, watercolours or oils. But if you feel like it's impossible to enjoy art now, and you've become disillusioned with dreams of making a living from art like I did at the age of just 19. You have nothing to lose by giving it a try. If anyone wants advice on materials or methods I'd love the chance to teach y'all, it'd basically be training for my retail job 😂 I have to know a little about every medium anyways.
