STRANGER THINGS VOLUME 2 SPOILER:

I can't stop thinking about the fact that no matter what the outcome may be, Max won't be able to see the movie with Lucas on Friday.

I have an awful gut feeling that Max is going to pause her music, go to take on Vecna on her own, Lucas walks in on her levitating, but it's too late... I don't know if I can handle that. Or perhaps she pauses the music to lure Vecna out for El? ...

I could just see her doing that almost like an homage to Billy sacrifice....

Stranger things 4 spoilers ahead!!

I was fine for the last two episodes. Eddie's death hurt, but I was spoiled, I saw it coming, and I don't believe he is actually gone (more on that another day). Max's death (in question) just makes me upset because no matter if she survives, she's not going to be able to physically SEE the movie with Lucas... And as someone who is nearly fully blind is one eye, I feel selfish to say that I fear one day I'll be in a similar (obviously not the same) position.

But what hurt the most this finale, was Hopper reuniting with El. As someone who very recently lost their father, this scene was all kinds of powerful. I've had dreams of meeting with him again, and the dreams hurt so much. So El physically hugging Hopper again after months of thinking he was gone, must've been just so overwhelming- I couldn't imagine. She probably had nightmares of him going, and dreams of him going home- and now her dream has come true and she has her dad to be her emotional support person again. As much as Mike probably helps her, sometimes having a parent there for you is a completely different experience.
