thinking about the makoto and kotone twins headcanon in relation to p3p…what if in the moonlight bridge incident makoto is the one destined to survive and become the wildcard while kotone is destined to die…what if femc’s route takes place in some alternate timeline fuck up where she survives and becomes the wildcard instead of makoto…what if when meeting in pq2, they don’t see a stranger but their dead twin, suddenly alive?

also, i like to imagine before the incident makoto used to be more energetic while kotone was more shy, and they developed their current personalities as a coping mechanism (i.e. makoto becomes more distant and externally emotionless because they’re afraid everyone close to them will die, kotone becomes an externally bubbly and outgoing person as means to hide her depression, that part is already pretty canon, and because she’s trying to fufill the supportive sibling role that she now lacks).
