Rembert Browne on Michael Jacksonâs 1988 Grammy Performance.
In my opinion, these are the highlights of this commentary!
Hereâs the link my friends; prepare to laugh hystericallyÂ

Bruno Mars on Michael Jackson, Prince, and James Brown
Ryan Whiteâs mother Jeanne speaking about Michael Jacksonâs friendship with their family. Ryan White was an American teenager who became infected with HIV from contaminated blood treatment and was then expelled from middle school because of his infection, and he suffered the stigma and isolation associated with the disorder in the 80s. He and Michael Jackson became friends after Michael had heard what had happened to him. Jackson would dedicate Gone Too Soon in his memory, releasing the song on World AIDs Day in 1993 and using his performance of the song at Clintonâs presidential inauguration to address the illness and urge for more to be done about it. His friendship with the family continued after Ryanâs death, and Jeanne has said that she and her family would take vacations at Neverland Ranch.
And I just realized it was the anniversary of Ryanâs death yesterday.
(how she started sobbing as Mike held her always gets me)
It is not to do what we like, but to like what we do, which makes life a blessing.đ

these are pretty sick
relevant
People love to forget Michael Jacksonâs blackness
people love to think that Michael Jackson forgot his blackness
People love to pretend to forget that Michael Jacksonâs autopsy results showed that he DID have a skin disease and never âdyedâ his skin.
People also love to revel in rumours and concentrate on the private life of celebrities instead of their actual message. Michael Jackson was a proud black man who spoke against racism, poverty, homelessness, the lack of education, hurting nature, war, and tabloid culture which distracts people from bigger issues. (Look up especially the second verse of Tabloid Junkie, itâs as relevant as the above gifs of They Donât Care About Us.)
He not only spoke against these things but he did his everything to spread the message and constantly practiced what he preached and used his money to make a difference in peopleâs lives. Yet people choose to ignore that and use him as the butt of a joke.
Always reblog for Michaelâs legacy and name.
You know its true. ;D
